Awesome! Let us know what you think.

:p

Well it wasn't something you HAVE to read to get M:UA 1's story...but it was nice. lol The art in it was pretty cool and Spider-Man made mention of his Spider Car thing saying how bad it was or something.

I'll have to go find it. lol

EDIT: Actually, I know exactly what the comic was about. Nick Fury's Secret War, haha. It did it better than M:UA 2 did.

For some reason, I keep remembering that Spider-Man pissed off Luke Cage in it by saying something that wasn't exactly "politically correct". I don't remember what he said, but it was his typical joking manner...and that makes me want to find the comic even more.

I saw this game at Best Buy and wanted to play it but this kid was hogging it up the entire time.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions Review

Warning, the review contains spoilers in both the text and screenshots.

The verdict: Must buy if you have the money.

Very excited!

Good review. And I didn't find anything especially spoilery in it, sure it was pictures of one unannounced boss in it but it gives away much less than we already know. Nothing that should stop anyone from reading it anyway.

Then you push them the **** out of the way. Come on, common sense.

Man I'm really happy that I preordered this game! I seriously can't wait 'til Friday, these reviews are very promising to say the least! :D

“The story details what happens when a mystical tablet shatters across several different dimensions, amplifying the powers of any supervillain who holds it. It’s the kind of hackneyed plot that was fashionable in the ‘60s, and I thought the comic world already transcended this kind of storytelling.”

I think this works because Amazing is based on 60s Spider-Man anyway. :P

Good reviews so far. The only thing that's disappointing me is how they say the entire plot is summed up in the intro and that's all there is to it. With Dan Slott writing it, I was hoping for an interesting story with a few twists and surprises.

Cest la vie.

I have no problem with an overly simplistic story if that's all there is to it, but that's just me. I'm the kind of fan who's easily pleased as long as it stays true to the core truth's of the character.

That was one of my problem's with WoS. Symbiote or not; Spidey does not rip people in half..

It's awesome it's getting these positive reviews!I can't wait to play it!

EXACTLY! lol

A simple story is TONS better than a crappy story. =/

But a great story is better than both of them :oldrazz: It makes me wonder why they roped in Slott at all for such a simple plot. In AA, we had no idea what the story was, except that Joker took over Arkham.

All through the game more and more neat little twists and layers were added to the story. Plus I loved the whole mystery of the Amadeus Arkham messages.

Yea but Beenox and Activision pretty much took a lot of artistic freedom away from Slott by making him use certain characters, certain situations, etc. The game was pretty much thought up already...they just needed a writer to add in the big details.

Honestly, I think they probably could've even put the guy who wrote WoS back in for that because it doesn't take that much thought to write a story when it's mostly written for you...but they knew people would nerdrage hard. lol

I think, if Activision and Beenox had've backed off a bit like Rocksteady did for B:AA, we would've gotten something even better.

Also, about B:AA, I found something that I absolutely hate about it...it has NO REPLAYABILITY. =/

Last night, I finally got all of the Spirit of Arkham messages, got all of Riddler's challenges and riddles...and now I just have the combat and stealth mission things... I'm not too interested in those. So ya, I think Spidey at least one upped Bats on that. Even though B:AA is considered to be one of (if not the) best superhero games, I would've loved some type of replayability or something.. :(

Anyway, I had to get that off my chest. :P

My hopes are that since the combat and overall gameplay in this game seem to be very good, they can take alot of that from this game (stealth gameplay, the combat, the awesome voice acting, good boss fights and linear levels) and spend more time on a great story for the next game (hopefully only the Amazing Spidey), and just polish and improve the combat itself a little.

Oh I didn't know that. That sucks. They should have taken a leaf from AA's book, and let the comic book writer craft the story, then work the game around it.

Oh you're in a minority there. It has an amazing re-playability factor, IMO. So much fun.

What makes you say that? Have you played this game yet?

Well it does for like 99% of the fan base lol. I don't know what else you wanted.
