Overall, the suit has defenitely grown on me. Raimi's may still be better, IMO, but this suit has grown on me overall. I'm REALLY liking it. Consider me pleased.

the latest pic is freaking amazing. pure sex! 'BUT' the set pics have me worried so I'm hoping the suits is going to be recoloured in post.

It's amazingly bad.

The webs are not webs, the pattern is screwwed up for no reason and there's some god-ugly silver things in his boots which I'm undecided wheteher I want to know the reasons for or not. Ah and then we have a horrific indentation on the back just to allow a long spider be there. Couldn't they have made a little smaller/shorter spider instead? But then again, was any of the changes necessary or is any of those making a great contribution the original design lacked of?

Sure, with a lot of shadows and a crouching Spiderman you miss a lot of the changes and the whole thing looks good, but I kinda know that Spiderman won't be in the shadows and crouching in every frame he's going to be in.

To be honest, Hizak's (sp?) awesome manips really prepared me as to what to expect and I was blown away by his work.

I loved the costume when the first official pic came out, then the set pictures put me on the fence about it, but now there's been another official pic i can say that I absolutely love it!!!!

As long as the lighting and the suit isnt as bright like in the set pics, which i know it won't be, i'm all good

for me its jst the belt piece thats missing..the rest i can handle...it just doesnt look right with out the full belt.
but that promo pic looks ok...but id like to see a proper full shot of him.
i just hope this time spidey is funny..cuz the last 3 movies spidey was a clumsy blubbery unfunny boring hero.
spidey needs to make the audiance laugh like you laugh when reading the comic.

It's definitely not the worst thing on this planet but it has a ton of dumb/pointless little design choices that add up. It may grow on me, idk, and I will definitely give it a chance in relation to the movie plot but at this point I still hate it. It just screams 'I want to be different' which is pretty lame. The kids who wear dusters, have black hair with bangs over their eyes, and smoke in the corner of the school yard want to be different too. I am just surprised to see all of this complacency. It's odd to see all these people angry over Green Goblin and raised silver webbing suddenly accepting this????

anyway...

fans hated the black costume(thats why it lasted for a few issues due to the hate mail) and iron spidey when it 1st came out....

but black became a 2nd fav of fans or even top 1 for some

and i see many iron sm toys being bought so just means majority those who hate will outgrow eventually.

Nay. I want this movie to be good and I love the cast and the Lizard...but that costume sucks, in my opinion.

I'm liking the suit, it's gonna be cool to see it in action, especially with Spidey appearing to be a more lean than he was in the previous films.

I like the suit a lot. Seeing how Webb sets up scenes where Spidey actually has to have dialogue and be expressive will make all the difference in terms of how the eyes are designed, but I like the suit. The texture is aesthetically pleasing (and lights beautifully) and the color scheme is really pitch-perfect.

I'm pretty undecided on the suit. Yeah, it looks great in the pics... but still not too sold on the red lines down the legs, or the missing belt look. and the gloves I'm not to happy with the most. Spidey had all red gloves with webs on them. Not sure why that needed changed. But I'm sure I'll still love the movie, and buy a bunch of toys for the Spidey Room.
I'm just still excited that we're still getting Spidey movies made.
