Hey, apparently there's a brand new Spidey novel out called The Darkest Hours, by Jim Butcher...not sure how to post a link, but there's an image and exerpt up at Amazon...

It co-stars Black Cat, and has an appearance by The Rhino...the main bad guys are a group of individuals who were supposedly involved with Morlun.

Sounds good. Man, i wasnt even aware this existed! I wish Marvel would advertise their products a bit better....

Has anyone checked it out yet...?

This?

Seems there are some pretty good reviews.

This book has been out for a while now. I've read it (I own it) and I have to say its a very good book and I enjoyed it very very very much. When you finish reading it, you sit back and think to yourself "Now that's a Spider-Man story." I think that Butcher perfectly captures Spidey's (and Pete's) character and there are some really great Pete/MJ moments. Definitely worth the time and money.

There is also another one called Spider-Man: Down These Mean Streets. I also own this one and I don't think it is nearly as enjoyable as the Darkest Hours. For one thing, its in third-person, unlike the Darkest Hours which is in first. The characters don't seem as vivid either.
