Seems that the "Brand New _____" character is a brand new Kraven.

Looks like an excellent month for Spider-Man. A lot of top-tier talent on these books.

Jesus, just write good stories and stop with the "events".

LOL

Anything with "brand new" in it is considered an event! Oh noes!

Well, ya know what I mean... just wondering when ASM will not be referred to as BND day anymore.:o

And that is AWESOME... :wow:

That was the original (better) cover to Venom: Dark Origins revealed almost 2 years ago.

So, Is Dark Origins going to be like "Man of Steel" and "Super-Man: Birthright" for Venom? Is this story going fix, update, or retcon Venom's origins?

Ah, cool. Why make another lame symbiote (Anti-Venom) when they could just get a better writer to keep Venom interesting?

Why always destroy, devolve, regress, or back peddle established characters and relationships in favor of inventing "Brand New status quos"?

It's tiring... :o

Do you see "Brand New Day" in the ASM solicits?

6 times Brand New Day is mentioned in some variation or another throughout all the Spidey solicits, once in ASM. Did you not read it?

Anyhow, whatever, just making a comment, relax. :whatever:

Seems that the "Brand New _____" character is a brand new Kraven.

Aloha,
Well we've had a female Dr. Octopus, so a female Kraven is par for the course.
Spidey rules with sexual equality

Wait a minute, that b!tch's name is actually "Brand New"?!

Wait a minute, that b!tch's name is actually "Brand New"?!

No, it's brand new [blank]. They're censoring who the new villain is, but if you look at the #567 cover as they suggest, it's pretty obvious that it's a new Kraven.

But...Kraven has a son...who is the current Kraven. I'm gonna cry.

First of all, Venom has lost any and all "interesting" factors a long time ago...

And maybe, just maybe, you're assuming that it's yet another lame symbiote story when it could all be a ressurection (of sorts) of Eddie Brock becoming a force to be reckoned with as he once was in the Marvel Universe.

Or maybe that would be seen as "lame" in your eyes as well... :oldrazz:

:yay:

:yay:

I just want to know if Dark Origins will be a reboot of Venom's origins, and if Marvel succeeds in making Venom good again, how long will THAT last? Spectacular Spider-Man Vol.2's "The Hunger" arc already succeeded in making Venom great, and Marvel turned around and ruined that less than a year later, so whatever we get from this can still be ****ed up.

I think they should just make the venom symbiote its own indepedent sentient being without having to bond with anybody. That would be interesting.
