World Spider-man: Web of Shadows Game

I don't mind doing it but you need to type up a Q and A first.

I've pretty much said all I can say about WoS.

The main difference for me between the games is that the small glitches in SM2 that I encountered were actually fun.

I forgot to type it.

Here's what I wanted to ask:

1)What were your thoughts when you first heard/seen about this game, and how does your opinion of the game change when it finally came out?

2)What are top 3 things Pros and Cons of this game?

3)As they stated before, does it really feel like you're playing as Spider-man?

4)Any other thoughts about this game you'd like to say to all fans and gamers out there?

5)And finally, what would you rate this game on a scale of 1 to 10, 10 being the highest.

I've had this game for about a month now. I've beaten it 4 times, and I only have the all red choices, and all black choices endings. This might be a stupid question, but how do I get the other two endings? I've tried mixing up the choices. Is there something specific that I need to do?

The other two endings must be followed in this sequence:
-Choose all red choices, but at the end when you 're given the choice to save Black Cat or not, you Choose Black.
-Choose all black choices, but at the end when you're given the choice to save black cat, you choose Red.

SM2
I was extremely excited. I followed the game like it was a sport, all the way up until release. When I finally played it, it redefined Spider-man games for me. This game is still one of my favorites and I could not recommend it more to any video game fan, both casual and hardcore.

WOS
I was cautious, but very excited as well. I watched the game as well as participated in the online community that promoted the game. I had been worried about the quality of the game because it has been declining ever since SM2 was released. I still bought the game, I enjoyed it but I have alot of problems with the quality. The revamped combat system is nice but it was not able to carry the game when it lacked in just about every other aspect. I would only recommend this game to casual gamers that love Spidey. This game definitely needed more thought and development time.

2)What are top 3 things Pros and Cons of this game?

PROS:
Webslinging is the best to this day.
Awesome Story
Unique gameplay.

Cons
Combat could be a little better, but that doesn't mean its bad. I like it.
Peter Parker is almost useless. but still a nice addition.

WoS
Pros:
Great combat system.

Cons:
Bad voice acting
Story was below average. needed more depth.
Too many bugs and glitches.
Could definitely use more characters. You fight the same people too many times.
Too repetitive in all game playing aspects.

3)As they stated before, does it really feel like you're playing as Spider-man?

SM2:
Very much so, from the webslinging to the quips to the inner monologues while swinging as Spidey during free roam. combat needs more work.

WoS:
yes. They nailed the feeling of dropping into combat, knocking out thugs continouly without ever touching the ground. the acrobatics are pretty fluid as well. The only thing that detracts from this experiance is the that they most likely needed a better voice actor. Alot of people find him quite annoying.

4)Any other thoughts about this game you'd like to say to all fans and gamers out there?

SM2:
Buy it if you have a Playstation 2, gamecube, or an xbox. I know it seems like "just another superhero game." and I know those are for "nerds" but you won't be dissapointed. If you own at least one of the above consoles you have to experiance swinging from a web for the first time. It should be very cheap now, at least 15 bucks. This game will age well. Go out and buy it.

WoS:
I highly recommend waiting for the bargain bin.
I love Spidey but I honestly wish I waited. It's a fun game but you have to keep in mind that its repetitive. In your into games like Metal gear solid and Prince of Persia, this may not be the game for you. Still its at least worth a rental. Keep in mind that this game has bugs and glitches that freeze the game, cut out the audio, stop spidey in mid air when he's swinging too fast, as well as screen tearing.

To be honest, I don't see how terrible this game is. Sure there's some bugs, but looking past that, I think it's simply a great game. It's got a pretty good story, awesome boss battles, a great combat system, and the best web-slinging (in my opinion) in a Spider-Man game.

Story that makes no sense, boss battles that are all almost the same and incredibly easy and a combat system where all you need is to smash the punch button with a couple web-strikes thrown in from time to time. The swinging is ok, but I still prefer SM2's.

To be honest, I don't see how terrible this game is. Sure there's some bugs, but looking past that, I think it's simply a great game. It's got a pretty good story, awesome boss battles, a great combat system, and the best web-slinging (in my opinion) in a Spider-Man game.

I can see it your way actually. But there are some things I believe that can be improved more and there aren't some bugs, there are a lot of bugs. The camera is okay, it's just that the lock-on messes with gameplay and such, unless you're swing kicking then that's another story.

I'm glad you're having fun though. We all have our own preferences, and I like this game a lot, it would be the best if some things were fixed.

EDIT: Omg, I never thought this would happend (well i kinda did.) The game froze on me the moment it loaded the main menu screen.

I'm not to focused on maultiplayer in Spidey game. Sure, it would be cool, but it just doesn't seem to fit Spidey games all that well.

That was my experience with WoS.

That made me go back to Assassin's Creed...an actual good video game.
