You could probably use a flexible sealant like PermaWet from MonsterMakers that stretches up to 600% and sticks to anything to seal that paint.

Nice idea.. I might look into that. Has anyone else here tried PermaWet on flexible Urethane? If so, I'm interested to hear your results.

yep.. made a few adjustments to the suit from the prototype. The red goes a little higher up the leg and rounds.. more like the comic look. I didnt notice it first time around.

Well a couple weekends ago we had Phoenix Comicon 2010 in downtown Phoenix. It was the first time wearing my suit at a con, so I thought I might show off a couple pictures.

Man, that looks GREAT!!! Good thing it was a few weeks ago. What, was it like 105 last weekend? I think you literally would have caught fire while getting this pic taken. Look forward to another 10 degrees next month!

Brad in Avondale :yay:

Cool suits guys. I like the eye frames on the black suit. They're a little bigger then frames Yuri and I use.

Here's a pic of a leg of a suit Im currently making.

Dam!! :wow::wow: That looks Freakin Awsome!!...Nice Job Brad I cant wait to order mine..I wish I had your talent and skills to do that..just looking how you make the suits looks confusing but awsome at the same time since Spiderman has always been my favorite hobby as well..How long does it take you to complete one full Urethane Webbing suit anyway? Like almost 1 month or 2 right? I like how you displayed Spidey-4-Fun on the photo..Looks nice. :woot: Show us some more photos as you finish and complete the suit.

Hey Spidey4fun I sent you an email a while ago asking about that Ben Reilly costume. How much would it cost to have another one like that made?

I really like this suit.
Why you added Spidey-4-fun?
I cant see image like that if text block this image.
Anyway. How long you make this suit?

I added the spidey4fun because I was tired of seeing this....

This guys using one of my pictures and has a channel comment how he made a spidey suit.. Which is very misleading. So I think I'll watermark all progress pics to prevent future misuse of them.

Nice Zombie. Will be interested in seeing how your muscle suit works out. I occassionally get people asking about them but have had no one to suggest as a supplier.

I had a rather different request a few months back....

Hi everyone,

I don't post here often but I need some help. Two years ago I bought a Spidey Suit from a poster here who also had an ebay auction for it. I forget his name, but he was a nice guy and a great seller. He sold me a suit that he had made for himself but was too small for him.

The body is great, it fits me perfect. But he wasn't quite finished with the mask when he sold me the suit. The eyes are a little uneven in their placing, and there's just too much glue for the black outlines. I had to glue the eyes on myself, and I have no talent or skill for such things.

Also, the suit is only one piece so I can't take off the mask without taking off half the suit. Which sucks when I'm at parties and drunk girls decide they wanna flirt with Spider-Man.

Sooooo I'm looking for some help/advice. I'd like to improve my eyes/mask on the costume by fixing the eyes and separating the mask. So what are my options?

-Should I look into a local tailor and ask them about separating the mask and making it still tight when I put it on?

-Should I perhaps commission someone in here to make me a new mask for the costume (If that's possible)? I'd love to get one of those comic book style masks I've seen in here a couple times.

Any help from anyone here would be greatly appreciated. I'd just like to get some options, weigh them out, and find a way to fix my spidey mask. I'll post some pics of my costume here in a second.
