The problem you'll have when separating the mask is you'll need overlap or the skin of your neck will show. Somehow you'll need to fasten the hood to the neck when wearing it. Only advice for the eye frames is to get a larger set of comic frames to cover the mess once the old frames are removed.

Yeah, I'm worried overlapping, which is why I'm afraid of taking it to just some average tailor. And the eye thing makes sense too. I wouldn't mind getting new eyes for the suit.

So who here wants to help me with that? Spidey4Fun, I know from my lurking that you're one of the big costume makers around here. You're probably busy and such and may not be able to take orders, right? But are there any other suit makers I should maybe talk to about fixing mine up? Thanks!

hay shocker 9000 the neck can cause problems if not done correct but i have made suits that have the mask that comes off and have had great luck with not having them roll up on you or shifting around i also my be able to help clean up the mess around the eyes with out having to change the look of them and having to add the bigger comic eyes if you still wanted to keep the movie look

Here's one for you...

I had a request to make the boot look more like the movie boot.... so here's what I've come up with. This will now be an option on all my suits.

Here's the actual Movie suit boot... pics compliments of Taylor.

And here's what I've come up with.. first pic is before I attached the shoe sole showing the shape of the shoe when worn.

With sole attached...

Only down side will be in washing the suit... the aqua shoes can be washed, and these shoes can't.

WOOOW!! That looks Nice LOL..do you plan to keep this new boot method for those that request it?...I love that idea with the shoes.. more of the movie style method I will keep note of that when I buy mine..who cares if you cant wash the shoes its not like your able to wash them with the water shoes anyway. Really Nice Job Brad on the shoes..oh and Taylor for coming up with the idea. t:

I only do it in my spare time... but yes I doing two at the same at the moment, only due to the fact I dont spend a lot of time gluing on the urethane webbing suit as I dont want to make any mistakes.

here is some pix of the muscle arm and chest i scilpted and posted a few pages back the arm is just latex like how a mask is made and the chest is a latex skin with a soam back

the top pictures is just the latex arm so you can see how it looks and the bottom is the latex arm and chest under regular spandex dont mind the seam on the shoulder the costume was made to fit me but the persom in the costume has wider shoulders than me so it fit a little odd lol other wise it would look norman also the other arm has no muscles on it so in the front shot you can see how big and superhero looking they will make you

the left hand will be done soon and both will be avaliable soon just email me at [email protected] if you are inturested in them i also will soon be posting pix of the full 15 piece foam muscle suit when it is done it will allow full range of motian and look just as thoes muscles look under spandex it is the same sculpt of the arm just broken up in sections

hay -superman- what are you talking about have u ever seen superman or batman or any other superhero in a comic book for that matter thay are jacked like they work out every day this was ment for under spandex not to look like that crappy week movie superman thay allways show or the armord batman like in the films spiderman is about the only superher thay have done rite in a film

Awesome suit fella...incredible!!!! Was just gonna bid on a suit thats on ebay rite now from the UK starting at £179 so I'm thinking why not. Got a fancy dress next week. Since you are the man tho , mayb take a look and tell me whether u think its worth a bid...its pretty awesome with 3D webbing n stuff. Its under 'Spiderman movie replica costume 3D webbing'. Appreciate any feeback you've got on it dude. Looks worth it to me. Cheers

Suit looks good to me in the pictures. Nice price also. The webbing is an acrylic paint and it will eventually crack and peel but it's pretty easy to fix if you can source the right paint. Good suit for a 1 off fancy dress.

The suit it's compared to (item 220624776983) is in a totally different league. It's printed on red and blue lycra so doesnt fade at all, even when fully stretched and the webbing is made of urethane cast in a mold then glued to the suit. This suit is more for the collector or serious costumer.

Awwww shucks, Brad, (twists big toe bashfully in the dirt). Tweren't nothin'.

Ya see, guys, I give because I love, and Brad here has been one of the kindest, largest-hearted Gentlemen that I know. (He cut LOTS of extra room into the crotch of my "Spidey4fun suit" because he knew about my......... ermmm......... "talent" in that particular area). Thank god, I'm now free to run and bounce and play without any painful........ ummmm......... let's delicately refer to it as "binding".
