I think this maybe the first time I've seen the poster for a Spike Lee movie say "A Spike Lee Film" instead of "A Spike Lee Joint".

I love this poster. Its so odd. Definitely makes the film stick in your mind, and it raised my interest a lot. I've never seen the original or a Spike Lee film so this is the first thing about the project that's grabbed my attention. If it does the same for casual movie goers then its done its job as a teaser poster.

I like the poster. It's the movie I'm worried about. I don't think most audiences are gonna dig this. I've never actually seen the original and while it does sound like an incredibly powerful story and film, I just don't think American audiences will be ready for this ****. It's exceedingly ****ed up

i think it's awesome. Besides, they'll have more conventional posters later down the line. Usually teaser posters are the ones that are artful, being non-conventional or minimalistic. Most people forget that.
