I had to let the Superman stuff go so I could like the film. I made peace with it weeks ago because I think we all knew the score. I think I am just done with this journey. But keep fighting, and if Cavill comes back I will of course see it...I just wont trust even my own hype especially if Snyder is involved. His talents work better elsewhere IMHO.

That's fair my brother! I think Henry got a lot left in the tank and deserves a shot to restore his Superman. Now that we got his death and return out the way, the next chapter should allow him to be the best mentor he could be and be apart of the team as a leading pillar. I think it can still be done. As for Snyder, I feel that his themes for Superman worked for me. I totally get how it can turn certain fans off and I wanted more but living 4 years with the inkling of Superman returning from the dead who hasn't been around awhile called for more of his presence after his absence rather than being chatty Kathy after he had a dark arc. All the complaints are certaintly valid.

Batfleck acting and delivery when he tells Joker that he will keep his promise to Harley and kill him, that moment is pure bliss to me. I don't know why, but it made me feel somethin'.

Still not over the gigantic balls on Snyder building up towards his version of Injustice League. lol

Superman just straddled Steppenwolf and started pounding. That's basically all there was to him in this.

In fact Snyder's Superman is basically the League's Hulk. They just point, he grunts and starts tearing **** up like he's been told.

It was pretty evident of how feared and powerful Superman is, both to the team and to devils like Darkseid and Steppenwolf. Apokolips avoided Earth because of the fear of Superman.

And you know what? Lex Luthor kicked Superman's ASS in Superman Returns. Faora and Zod kicked Superman's ASS in Man of Steel. Batman kicked Superman's ASS in BvS and he freakin died. Not going to lie, it was great, not good..GREAT to see Superman pummel in this. But that's just me.

I liked the small moments between Diana and Arthur. It would be kinda cool to have WW show up in Aquaman 2. I need to see more of the Knightmare timeline. Goddamn.

Snyder killing Supes, to resurrect him and then make him go injustice league evil is too much emotion for this bald world. Simply poetically beautiful. Supe fans should kiss at his altar. Hell, he'd probably would've brought in Supergirl in there too, she'd probably end up looking up to Bruce/Batman.

Also, anyone know the instagrams to them Lex Luthor bodyguards, let me know.

I think the Injustice evil Supes would be blown out of proportion for Zack's entire vision because that is only one snippet of a world and in an unknown timeline that they ultimately save. Could you imagine the third and final JL with a fully formed JL kicking ass TOGETHER on Apokolips?

Someone will be along shortly to say it was accidental but I liked Snyder's focus on parents throughout his trilogy, particularly mothers, and how their deaths shape their children.

Lois would be possibly pregnant when she dies which continues on the theme, and likely makes Superman succumbing to the anti life equation a bit more easier to digest.

It's also a DC thing to have older generation (parents. ) and younger generation (side-kicks) as a regular part of stories.

At first, yes, but then he started to get the upperhand until Nam-Ek showed up and then it was 2 on 1.

So yes, Faora, Nam-Ek and Zod kicked his ass. We said it all the time how inexperienced he was in MoS. Again, for me, for every punch that landed and vibrated to the skies and slice heat visioning Steppy's ear off was wonderful.

It was interesting that in Cyborg's vision, when we see Diana on the funeral bier, Darkseid is right there. What's the deal with that? Maybe he forced Hypolita, queen of the Amazons, to marry him to protect the other Amazons, sort of like how Darkseid always wanted to marry WW in the Super Powers cartoon.

Darkseid was super pervy in that show.
