Square Enix's Avengers

They're all avengers or have been though. When you think of the Avengers and a game revolving around them. Who's you're roster of like 20? The game will be supported for years and so we know the roster will grow and if it's all avengers then who do you "need"

Captain America
Iron man
Hulk
Black widow
Thor
Ms. Marvel
Hawkeye
Black panther
Captain marvel
Spiderman **
Antman
Wasp
Scarlett witch
Vision
Quicksilver
She hulk
War machine
Spider woman
Black knight (appearing in eternals makes this even more likely)
Falcon
Winter soldier
Valkyre

Wouldn't be opposed to young avengers as well
Patriot
Hulking
Wiccan
Speed
Hawkeye II
Stature

All without xmen, FF, Dr strange, or gotg. Also all of them we have seen or definitely will see in live action with the exception of spider woman (im sure sony will move on it soon) and the young avengers (which I imagine are coming soon)

How dare you, it's just Hawkeye! Hawkeye and Hawkeye! :argh:

:o

In all seriousness its not impossible to have a big avengers only roster with recognizable names. Granted my list has a few clones but they're all free its shouldn't be a huge deal if a few are just mostly cosmetic changes but have similar structure and power sets.

Fair enough and that's good list! A young avengers dlc pack would be cool

Played a little bit of the demo on the ps4 just finished the A day level and started the Bruce and Kamala mission So far my main issue is the camera I just felt like it was shaking way too much and there is so much going on the screen. I do feel like the control mechanics work really good.

I just started the demo. So far the camera shake is extremely annoying, and the combat just feels so damn stiff and slow. Theres none of the flow and precision that Spiderman and the Arkham games have.

Has Nova(Richard Ryder) ever been an Avenger? I'm a fan of the character and he was one of main ones that I used in Marvel Heroes Omega

Datamining has indicated some of the "new" characters.

She-hulk and Kate Bishop. Which given the amount of effort I've seen out of the developers of this game, are absolutely going to be clones of Hulk and Hawkeye

yeah I’m not impressed with those two.

Well, the visual design of the game isn't very good, but I was hoping to find some fun gameplay at least. Unfortunately, having played the beta, I did not find that. It's pretty clunky and unwieldly, with platforming elements that feel clumsy. The best one to play as is Cap, but even then it's not on par with its contemporaries or even games from a generation ago when it comes to combat. It adds to the overall generic quality it feels like it has. It feels like a movie tie in game that doesn't actually tie into any movie. I've enjoyed stuff from both studios before, but this is a massive step back for both of them from previous games of theirs I've played which I loved.

I watched some streamers on Twitch and the Hulk gameplay had weird physics. When he walks, jumps, smashes it seems there's no weight...

I have to wait until next weekend for the open beta and judge myself, but yeah, Deus Ex and Tomb Raider died for this. :o

That is absolutely insane. It's like they are sneak installing the full game. :funny:
Indeed. According to the requirements on Steam, the full game needs 110GB; 75GB without the HD textures.

It seems developers are getting more lazy and are not compressing their **** anymore... :whatever:

Played a little of this today. It's okay, I mean, it's fun. But it's really not much more than that and can't hold a candle to Spider-Man (2018) or especially the Arkham games in terms of combat.

Yeah, Hulk is really rough. When playing around with the beta initially, I actually shut it off during his second playable sequence. It's just not fun to play as him. Like you said, he's weightless, and given that he has the most platforming elements during his section, it led to a lot of irritation. His is the most frustrating to play, but also flying as Iron Man gets a big yikes from me.

On the bright side, I guess this is what pulled Crystal Dynamics away so that Eidos Montreal could make the best of the Tomb Raider reboot games.

Seeing first impressions here which make the game sound quite lazy and uninspiring. As so many awesome games come out, the last thing we need is another AAA **** superhero game.

I hope suicide squad and PS5’s reported Daredevil game kick ass

Playing the beta and it's definetly not Batman Arkham or PS4 Spider-Man but it's decent and fun. It'll probably improve over time but that means months or years after a ton of dlc and updates.

I was always going to get this no matter what because it's a new comic book game and especially marvel. It's not terrible and has potential to be great but yeah it'll probably take time as it keeps evolving

I didn't know the beta is free for everybody. I only played A Day so far today and

It truly feels like a triple A Avengers game. Even though the camera is quite shakey, I think this has potential. Though of course, the true judgment will come when I get the full game and I'll only buy this until the discount price. But so far, so good! I liked the variations for the five Avengers and this doesn't feel like another Ultimate Alliance clone, but more like a counterpart to Batman Arkham and Spider-Man 2018.

Though they did ask me to register on Square Enixs website before I played and they sent me an online receipt of 0 dollars. I kinda don't like those lol.
