Then you lose out. In 2019 nearly every major release has DLC, especially ones where customization and multiple characters are a big part of the experience
That's pretty much what I'm expecting. Spider-Man set the bar when it came to the amount of costumes available. Not to mention the extra power or move that came with almost each one. So let's hope Marvel's Avengers will try to raise that bar.

then I wonder what kind of games you even play bc the amount of games with no DLC are more of an exception these days
I just finished Assassin's Creed Odyssey the other day. I have no interest in playing the dlcs. So obviously games with a main story campaign. So far, the ones that in my wishlist/shoplist don't have dlcs that are longer than the main game. Though of course, games with free dlcs are nice as well but like I said, they aren't my priority.

well it was mentioned in a pod cast to Bill Roseman by the game informer interviewer speaking to him so marvels VP of the games section is aware of it now finally. as to the game universe he said they aren't Really ready to do that yet. but it's something they might look into that . ( they need to have studio's of theior own to pull that off which is one of the reason I'm leaving the hype to make that happen I was always pushing for this, they need their own publisher house with studio's under them) for now that's just talk as he said . it's both in where are the marvel games and the marvel ultimate alliance 3 thread in the Nintendo section.
