Does the standard edition release on September 4th or is that for the deluxe edition's 72 hr early access?
So I played the prologue and Hulk/Ms. Marvel mission and stopped there because I just want to experience the rest when I get the game. Overall I really liked it. I loved the A-Day part with Thor and throwing Mjölnir was so satisfying.
I mean I know I did the same thing with Kratos in GoW but this is freaking Thor lol. So still looking forward the main game
I am confused by your use of a DLC characters for fighting games. Which I assure you have a lot more go into their inclusion then the characters seem to here. Adding a new character to a fighting game, is the ultimate test of creativity and balancing.Marvels Avengers Spider Man Won't Be Tacked On, Says Dev
I knew it! He's going have a major presence and be more than an added character like for a fighting gan3

But lets keep things in mind, this has been promised in many other games as service before...
Story modes in fighting games are "tacked on". Adding story bits to a character in a game that plays fundmentally the same as the majority of other characters is a far more correct take on the phrase "tacked on". Not something that takes months and months of work, play and stress testing to make sure it works in the game.Fighting game characters added as dlc are usually just tacked on with no big importance to a story. You had to have known that was what I meant. I wasn't going deep about it.
As for this game, I assumed Spidey was going to be tacked on with not much content to him as he's an exclusive character and that would have been enough but had a feeling they were probably going big with him as I was right
Oh, I am going to have to see some examples here. Because I am having trouble thinking of any game as a service that has fundamentally delivered on any such promise. And in most cases, it's been delivered. They way the dev proudly talks about their Spider-Man being part of their world and how they see him as the cherry on top and want to clarify that he's not just tacked on...you can tell they intent on showing off having spidey in the game than just an added roster name

Forget the part of what you wrote I had a fundamental disagreement with, which was also the basis of your comment?Forget about the damn fighting game comment! My point was that Spider-Man could have just been added as a playable character and that would have been a huge enough exclusive bonus but I knew they would make him and content related to him a big part of the game. Without him on xbox, the game will kinda feel incomplete
All jokes aside, you haven't really explained anything and seemingly in the process got yourself very hyped.**** dude! In tired of having to explain myself to you. We're just going to disagree so whatever.
Can someone talk about the damn article link I posted and discuss that instead of analyze my comments or compare to other gsmes?

You don't know how big of a presence he has, but beyond that big presence to you seems to be they wrote a scenario involving him. Which honestly doesn't sound like that much work in the grand scheme of things, and is in no way a reflection of the kind of work that goes into properly adding a character in a fighting game. You can't disagree about the basis of my main point when it's a fact. Spider-Man has a big presence/role when i initially assumed he was going to be a minor part due to being an exclusive added character
This thread is about the Avengers game. I am on topic and was specifically responding to post in the thread about it.I did explain what I meant but you keep going on about the rest that didn't even had much meaning. It's myself and hype but you are annoying the **** out of me and pissing me off the more you don't get back on topic and talk about the ****ing article!

So I will ask again, what examples of games as service delivering more often then ot.
