SR deserves to win IMO, even though the POTC 2 effects were great, only Davy Jones truly stood out as something spectacular IMO.

Whoa, kak. That's a really down way to look at it. If I'm not mistaken Superman: The Movie only won an Academy Award for best visual effects. If it won anything else someone can correct me.

Anyway, congrats to the crew on SR for the nomination. I suspect POTC will win but it's nice that they get some recognition.
