The Dark Knight Stamps on the Joker cards

My money is, as always, on a more mundane solution.

The cards were there to limit the number of people getting in to a manageable number, and the stamps were to ensure no one was using counterfeits. They did seem pretty intent on security in SF.

You're probably right except for one thing... no one at our spot checked to see if we had cards. In fact, a friend of mine got in without having a card at all.

Well, here you had to show your card and the pink ticket, although I heard that as long as you had the ticket you were allowed in.

Well here in London as i said before they basically just took a quick gaze and said "Fine". The didn't look very carefully or anything. You never know, maybe they just wanted to give out the cards as a gift. Wouldn't that be crazy?!

I might be blind, but I didn't see any of the Boston cards on here. I got one and my friend gave me his so here they are:

We should keep a list of the different symbols on the wiki maybe. In case there is any significance to them.
There seems to be a lot of dragon imagery.

Ours was the other way around. They only gave out x ammout of raffle tickets, but everyone got the card.

Though they obviously didn't give out all of the raffle tickets they had. When they did the drawing, they had to go through 3 numbers before someone finally claimed it.

From what I hear they are releasing the Joker deck and anyone could buy it. I think the stamps are just seals of approval that these are special cards.

Where'd you hear that? My stamped cards will always be more special. But I'm glad to know I'll be able to pick up all the other designs eventually. It's like Pokemon all over again. Are they gonna release it with the toys/costumes or something?

umm Merchandise thread I believe. Reports of them releasing the deck.

The one I got in toronto is a bit different than the other ones in that it has no figure on the card but the word joker all over the card.

That's actually one of the coolest cards I've seen in quite a long while, and I've seen a lot of cards. I wonder what the rest of the deck looks like.

GOD! I want that one in the middle so bad! The guy in line next to me got it and wouldn't hand it over for sixty-bucks and the card I got. The one I did recieve was the black midget one i've seen posted on here with a few others. Pretty cool, but I salivate at the one from the teaser every time I see it.

That's odd. When Liz (my gf, not you) and her friend went to the bathroom they were told they needed to have their cards to get back in.

and in philly a lot of cards didnt have stamps for some reason.. soo theres gotta be a bigger meaning to the stamps then just to categorize which city they came from.
