I realize how badly Paramount needs this for next summer after losing The Avengers. But at the rate they're going, I feel like it's going to be pushed back to Christmas 2012 or summer 2013.

yeah, but I think it was cut out because they weren't satisfied with that version of the Klingons.

I re-watched it a couple of weeks ago and still love it! One of my favorite movies ever. I find Star Trek 2009 to be the "Star Wars" version of Star Trek if that makes sense.

Something like that. I thought Trek 2009 had a really good story. Then again I'm usually biased with anything involving time travel.

I especially like how a supernova can destroy the whole universe, and they use a black hole to suck up the explosion, which at some point in time that explosion will re occur in another timeline and then destroy the whole universe. Yeah I agree good writing.

I care less about realism. Its why I love fantasy/sci-fi and superheroes.

It's not like all of the explosion will occur at once. Spock and Nero went in only seconds from each other and they appeared 20 years apart. Part of the explosion will occur at different time periods and probably not enough to destroy the universe.

The first time I watched it, I was confused... but after a few more viewings I roughly got the hang of it

I'm with you on this. I don't understand what is so confusing.

Because there's a scene where Original Spock explains everything but the audio is muffled and you can't really hear what he's saying.

Are you talking about the mind meld scene? Your right Spock's voice distorts for a moment, but you don't miss any crucial info. Not enough to cause you to be confused. If you watch whats going on and listren its pretty clear. I could understand some might be confused at first, but by the end you should understand what is going on. Especially by a second viewing.
