Star Wars 1313

I wonder how much these partially completed games that get cancelled cost up to that point. Especially when they look this good. Maybe it's not that much, otherwise I don't know why they don't just release it and probably make a good amount as a one off game before they go heavy on the new trilogy and non-mature Disney themes.

I don't think it has as much to do with it's maturity, it's just that Disney has a long term plan. They sound like they are wanting to end TCW, they canned the finished 3D Prequels ect. They are trying to go back to the OT feel. And it seems like they have a long term plan they will start implementing. I really hope they go back to the glory days of Star Wars video games, where there was lots of them.

JESUS CHRIST CAN LUCASARTS ACTUALLY RELEASE A GOOD GAME!?

They'll release crap like FU2, but not Battlefront III or this!? I'm really sick of this company, it really needs some new management

Well you have no idea if 1313 was any good, we saw a trailer, that was about it. I doubt Disney would can a project that had the potential for lots of money ect. I think the in-house stuff of Lucas Arts has been pretty crappy since the late 90's. In the 90's not only did they make amazing Star Wars games, but amazing other IP's like The Dig, Monkey Island, Grim Fandango ect. Most of their good games post 99 were outsourced to Bioware ect. I think they may want to do that again. I thought TFU was terrible as well.

I want new Star Wars games more than anything, but I want quality ones. So hopefully under the new management of Kathy they will re-arrange it and bring us some good games eventually.

I'm not much of a Star Wars fan, but I was really looking forward to this.

Probably right.

I hope so. Just wish I hadn't heard about that mobile focus they seem to be taking on games.

I think that's in-house. I think they should and probably will do what they did well in the early 2000's have good devs in their genres make it with the franchise attached. Bioware/Obsidian did KOTOR, Ensemble did that RTS (the 2D one) Pandemic did Battlefront, SOE did Galaxies. It was smart because you got great games out of that.

I really hope the game moves forward. What little I've seen looked amazing.

this sucks! i was looking forward to this game

Lucasarts hasn't made a good game in a looooooooooooooooong time, excluding of course the first Force Unleashed. but looking back on their catalog of great games such as Dark Forces, Rogue Squadron, Battlefront, Shadows of the Empire, etc., their management have really screwed things up in the last 10 or so years.

i remember there was an Indiana Jones game in the works for PS3 & XB360 that got cancelled and it looked pretty awesome. sort of like an Indy version of Uncharted.

Yeah,In the early days of Xbox 360&PS3 I remember GameInformer and some sites having some articles about it with screenshots,It had Indy fighting some dude on top of a San Fransico trolley..Looked amazing and the young Harrison Ford likeness was the best ever

Yeah there was a trailer for it and it looked phenomenal

well, if this gets canned I hope they move forward with that RPG that was being pitched.

Yea no kidding. Can't believe we were that close to a game with the Fett Man. Eff you Disney, eff you.

I don't undeerstand how Disney can look at this game and say yeah this isn't going to be successful, let's cancel it

Boba fett was the star of the game?! Oh man I didnt know that. Those pictures look amazing. :(

That's very possible. It could have been crap but it couldn't have been any worse than Fu2.

I actually thought FU2 was very fun, especially the $1 Endor stage. My one and only knock about it is that it was about 4-5 stages too short. But the best part about it is playing the game with the Fett costume. So awesome playing as Fett with a Jedi's powers.

Even though it sucks right now, I have a feeling we'll get a tie-in game when the Fett solo movie comes around...or at lest, I really hope we do.

Yea it could have sucked, but know we'll never know. I would have like to see how it turned out. I've been wanting a Boba Fett game for the longest time.
