Manu Bennett for Boba
Loved him in Arrow. I'd definitely be up for him as Boba.
Manu Bennett for Boba
I always liked Boba Fett because it seemed like he was the protagonist of his own story and just happened to briefly step into the main Star Wars saga. He was cool because he was mysterious and left you wondering what he was about. But as often the case the question is more interesting than the answer. It would be very tricky to do a solo movie like this and retain that mystique. Especially after the prequel nonsense.
Wow talking about Wheadon earlier he is not directing a SW movie anytime soon thankfully. He is putting his foot in his mouth in every new interview. Someone has to tell him to shut up already and stop throwing blame around except to himself. I always thought he was an hypocrite and this stuff is confirming my suspicious.

Yes, yes, how dare he even imply that Marvel Studios is less than perfect?![]()
Right, but how is that unprofessional? In the context of the interview he basically said he understood why the changes were necessary from a business standpoint and with the broader universe in view.
Films like the Man with No Name trilogy did something like this, hell, a lot of old school films pulled this type of protagonist off all the time, all it realy takes is an interesting plot and a smart Director.
mm you called your bosses ****ers, that doesn't seem unprofessional? if i did it in my job i would get fired in an instant, and my boss is pretty cool
I have no objection to Whedon doing an Anthology movie. Variety is the spice of life. But, he is wrong for a Boba Fett movie.
I'm not going to lie, the way the fandom has turned on Whedon is hilarious. How many times have I gotten rabid looks when I have mentioned that I don't exactly like him as a director (great writer and showrunner)? I guess Feige is the true fanboy god.
To tell the truth i was never a big fan of him to begin with, never saw buffy or angel, saw some Firefly and it was good in some places but in others pretty weak, but i dont think it deserved such a quick cancellation. He actually wrote a treatment for toy story so that is to be appreciated, even though who knows what was it about. Then the whole Alien fiasco was just horrible.
When Marvel picked him up he wasn't the hottest thing in town and they got him cheap, and he knows this and shouldn't talk about salaries or that he made more money in smaller projects. You took the job willingly so no need to criticize the bosses like that. And then all this latest statements , i don't know why he is throwing them around, you are just getting a bad name in town when you aren't really THAT accomplished as a director. Besides his avengers movies and firefly he doesn't have much more to show off. Hopefully he keeps his mouth shut from now on.
And Feige is not untouchable, most of Marvels movies before Avengers are nothing to be that proud of, and TIH is almost as if it didnt exist. IM3 is for me wasnt good either and Thor 2 even less. I think GUardians and Cap2 are they best movies by far, but except for avengers and the first iron man movie, the other flicks were in the ok range, or even less for my taste. So no Marvel isnt blameless or without critic.
Anyway Star Wars forum, no Joss Wheadon is star wars please, i dont think he is much of a team player
It was previously reported – as part of a larger story involving Han Solo’s alleged role in the movie – that Matthew Vaughn (Kingsman: The Secret Service) and Jon Favreau (Iron Man 1&2) are on the list of potential replacements for Trank on the second Star Wars Anthology feature film. However, on this week’s episode of Meet the Movie Press (hat tip /Film), The Wrap‘s Jeff Sneider provided a fresh update on the situation, saying he’s been informed that Michelle MacLaren has met with Lucasfilm about the possibility of her taking on that job.
