EA Star Wars: Battlefront II

Battlefront 2 really looks stunning and a massive improvement to the first one (and I simply love the first one).

Those Theed landscape and buildings look simply incredible.

It will be very hard to wait until November.

I'm actually surprised to say that I think this looks like **** even though I quite enjoyed the one that came out with episode 7. The gameplay I've seen seems a lot slower and the HUD is cluttered. Something seems very off about the battle droids as well...not sure what that would be.

Every glimpse of the campaign so far is mainly reminding me of Mass Effect 4 and Rogue One.

1. Playing as Rey and Kylo.
2. Going back and forth on all the eras
3. Playing on Naboo and tromping around on a AT-RE with some Clonetroopers
4. The expanded skills and classes branch
5. The Single Player
7. Playing as Maul
8. Getting to play as Finn and Phasma and being able to play on Crait

I really want to say almost everything I've seen makes me really excited.

well, Lucasfilm had them chained up with the last game to avoid Force Awakens and Rogue One spoilers, looks like they untightened the chain a bit for Battlefront 2

That was not the problem with the last game. The problem was a lack of content. One of the reasons they made it one era, was to try and fudge why it didn't have more content. Look at all the stuff they started adding with the DLC which had nothing to do with TFA or Rogue One.

It wasn't chained up. They had to get the game out before Force Awakens.

No story campaign AND no space battles. Think about that. A Star Wars game launched without any space battles. All the previous Battlefront games had space battles.

To be fair, there was only 2 other games.

And they both had space battles. So the next-gen game with all the high tech bells and whistles couldn't make that happen until much much later.

In no particular order:
1. The storyline (filling the gap between ROTJ and TFA).
2. Multiple eras.
3. Improved graphics and gameplay.
4. Playing as Rey and Kylo Ren.
5. The new planets.
6. New Class and upgrade system.
7. No power-ups (these were very annoying in the first game).
8. The amount of hype in November-December with the release of BF2, followed by TLJ a month later. It will be crazy.

That is because it didn't. I don't think it had heroes either, at least not ones you could control. I honestly can't remember, because I spent years playing the second game in comparison.

It's all looking pretty good so far. DICE clearly feel they have something to prove after the last game (and they really do). Eager to see what the game launches with, offline modes with bots were fun once that was brought in previously. I play that with my wife lol

Likewise I enjoyed the first a ton, and this looks ****in great. Day one purchase for me cannot wait. Looks like a blast so much to do and it will keep me occupied for a very long time.
