EA Star Wars: Battlefront II

My only problem with the story is they aren't going to own it. They will likely turn the main character into rebel by the end of it.

Much more interested now there is a single player campaign. I don't do online gaming so got bored of the first really quick.

2017 is hitting my wallet hard. So many must play games on the way. So, so many.

Perhaps towards the end of the story you get to choose your destiny. Either join the Rebels or say with the Empire/First Order.

Kinda like how in Force Unleashed you get the option at the end to kill or spare Vader

With everything being tied to canon I doubt there will be a chose your own path.

I get payed this week, I'm gonna pre order the digital deluxe in the PS store.

As usual, no CG trailer will convince me to pre-order a video game in this day of age. I definitely need to see some gameplay footage first.

Worst case, it'll only cost me 10 bucks on release day just like the first one (which I still haven't played).

I figured they wouldn't do a gameplay trailer this early but I'm already sold on it purely for the fact that they'll be exploring the prequel and sequel eras in multiplayer. The campaign looks interesting too.

I really hope that the jetpack isn't a perk you unlock, but rather a standard issue thing in the multiplayer. The mobility/verticality it adds is way to valuable IMO.

With the class system being implemented, I'm guessing it might only be available to only one of them, maybe assault or specialist if I had to guess.

Personally, given how you basically had to use a slot on a jumppack in the first game if you wanted to keep up with the game, I'd prefer it if was downplayed, so we see more diversity in load outs.

We need diversity. I am level 60 and hardly ever use the jetpack. Some use it, but I prefer not to have it. You need variety.

I'm excited by the classes and the skill trees (it sounds like it) implemented. It gives more to people to mold their character to how they like to play.

I'm kinda of two minds for how Obi-Wan should be implemented.
I want Ben Kenobi, I want General Kenobi, but I don't think I really want two different Obi-Wans in the game, not with so many possible heroes in this game.

so what the Chance of Rogue Squadron showing up as antagonist in the Campaign will be a great opportunity to Re-Canonize Tycho Celchu and CORRAN HORN who I do not have a problem if he is not Force-sensitive in the new canon

That has to be rectified with the map design. There were way too many maps where someone with a jetpack has a huge advantage over someone who doesn't.

I kind of agree with that. I like using them for novelty and the fun of moving around quickly but not as a mainstay. Plus it's too easy to evade getting killed when you can jet away before someone's finished you off.

Haha, this is how I think too.

so will the single player campaign be first person, third or both? If its the latter, will you be able to switch on the fly?

Switchable please!

I'm pretty giddy about a single player campaign. The last game looked so much fun.
