I hadn't heard that one yet.

Interesting, would that work age-wise?

He's too old as Kanan should be about 67 years old during Episode VII and Max is 85. Kanan was born 33 years before the Battle of Yavin. I guess it depends whether you believe Max von Sydow could pass for younger.

Just watched the Droid episode. Another great one! This show is really shaping up to being something special. I just get that "Star Wars" feel, every time I watch it. Loved seeing R2 and C3P0

Totally agree about that Star Wars feel. I'm loving what in seeing so far. Really enjoying the old school OT music themes as well.

A cool surprise seeing
Bail Organa
, I wonder what role he'll be playing in this series. This early on it may be a large one.

OT=Original Trilogy (Episodes IV-VI).

PT=Prequel Trilogy (Episodes I-III).

ST=Sequel Trilogy (Episodes VII-IX).

I don't believe he could lol, but it's a movie so I'd cut it the slack, especially if he's maybe scarred up or something to hide the age discrepancy.

How old was Guiness in IV? Because Obi was supposedly 58 at that point.

I like that they don't shy away from having weapons connect or people getting hit by blasters.

Great episode in using C-3PO and R2-D2, along with Bail Organa. I like that they're trying to line up this series with Episode IV. Nice character developments on Ezra, Zeb, Sabrine, and Chopper.

Episode 4 is up on WatchDisneyXD.com.

Gonna watch it real soon.

Will update this post after.

It's an episode centered on Ezra and his relationship to Zeb.

The party returns to Lothal.

The beginning was a bit slapstick but settled into an action-oriented groove with the stolen TIE fighter.

Not much of the other characters in the episode.

Yeah, Kristian Harloff from the AMC Movie Talk, the Far Far Away Podcast, and Schmoes Know is pushing this theory. Not really seeing it as a possibility yet though.

Adding in Kanan will have everyone asking why not Ashoka in the movies. They are probably better off not doing it. Unless they got plans for both

I love Ahsoka, but I always felt her fate should be either Palpatine Killing her in front of Anakin, or ordering Vader to do it himself trying to rub out whatever of Amakin might have remained.

I hope she shows up in Rebels later down the road for a season or few helping the Ghost crew and bites the dust similar to Obi-Wan.

I was worried this was going to be too kid friendly after Clone Wars. Clone Wars got ****ing dark near the end. So glad I was wrong. Rebels is already a blast filled with likable characters and it just feels like Star Wars.

It makes me smile.

Are the clone wars worth watching? This show is making me debate diving into the star wars universe, although they are different shows; is the tone similar too each other and quality of writing how does that fare?
