Stargate SG-1/Atlantis/Universe

Any Stargate fan who is also a fan of great adventure games has to play this game: STARGATE ADVENTURE

What's simply amazing is that this is entirely homemade by one individual who programmed it and did all the art and I'd say that it's better than quite a lot of those old Sierra and Lucasarts Adventure games from the 1990s. He has the characterizations and stories all right, almost the entire SGC actually created that you can walk around inside, and varied locales and SG like adventures in it. There are even many ways of solving each problem and some nice bonuses and easter eggs if you go out of your way to solving something. FREE FOR DOWNLOAD!

Don't want to give it away but the best moment for me was when I figured out there was a "long way" alterative to killing an evil deformed bio-monster inside the Gu'auld base.

I'm still waiting for someone to make a kick ass stargate game. The whole premise of the show is perfect for a video game We went over this a couple of pages back though.

Anyhow, ever since the introduction of the Ori, I haven't been able to predict the show. Season 7 and 8 were no brainers. But ever since the ori have come onto the scene, the show has been hard to predict, even with the meager spoilers.

I just hope there's some good fightn in the premier.

As for Atlantis. I can barely remember what happened. Something like we humans have to stop the wraith from going really fast.

If only JoWood and the developers of Alliance didn't have that falling out. :(

Anyway, the Wraith set a course for Earth at the end of the last season. So basically you're right: the humans have to stop the Wraith from going really fast.

What happened in the finale? I remember they made an alliance with the wraith to create a weapon, so that micheal could use it to depopulate the wraith by eliminating his enemies. Then there was some huge betrayal, and the wraith ran off with the info from that Ancient/Atlantian ship. It's that betrayal, I remember it happened, but I don't remember what happened.

The alliance was a set up planned by the Wraith. The Wraith VS Wraith War was all a set up to screw over the Atlantis Team & they got screwed over big time. LAs time we saw Atlantis the entire Wraith Fleet was heading to earth with Ronin & Mc Kay captured on a Hive Ship & Sheppard following them in his Jumper (of course this is speculationn with Sheppard last we sw him he disappeared after the Wraith Fleet set course to earth so thats the theory with Sheppard

This Cross Over had to happen sometime

true that, I'm happy they put it off for so long though, if they did it right away, it wouldn't be as satisfying.

I'd love to see RDA do a solo visit to Atlantis aswell. It'd be interesting to see what General Oneill thinks of Sheppards command on Atlantis (seeing that it was he who pretty much recruited sheppard into the SG world)

He will be doing a Solo Visit to Atlantis. He is in Two Atlantis Episodes but one is kind of a fake World type of thing & going by Spoilers the other is when Atlantis asks him for help on dealing with an old SG1 Enemy last I read

I hate Vala with those piggy tails. She's on a military team for crying out loud! I know she loves to stand out but that 'do has GOT. TO. GO!
:)

I wonder if mitchell, and Sheppard will be friends, or enemies?

I mean Sheppard seems to have this tarnished past that we never really hear about (something about disobeying orders to save friends or something, but why would everyone hate him for that?)

Anyhow, I wonder which camp Mitchell will be in? The I don't like Sheppard camp, or the hey man, let's party camp?

shave her head, GIJane style...

(although, Claudia Black has a very 'unique' nose and that might not work)

Let it loose, or a bun or something, but not piggy tails. She's not 6..

Seeing as how Sheppard is showing Mitchell around while everyone else is doing their own thing. Daniel & Vala going through the Atlantis database, Sam working with McKay etc I am sure Mitchell will be in the I like Sheppard camp

Am I the only one that does not like the fact that they are using the replicators again ? Hopefully we will see Thor in Atlantis eventually if they are here to stay. I am sure the Asgards would be interested in checking out an Ancient Home Base since they were allies

At least SG1 has Baal

Daniel Jackson said it best

"I miss Thor"

they've got the little grey buddy on the Daedelus, he's been down in the city already, I think

He has not been to Atlantis yet. He stays on one of the Ships & its still not the same as Thor

0 Neil should become an ancient again to fight the Ori that way Thor will come to help :o

I wonder though since Jackson actually Ascended maybe he would be able to handle all that Info better then a regular Human

The crossover's looking good, but I wonder if Teal'c will be there. I'd love to see him and Ronan spar. It's the comic fanboy in me, I guess. :)

On another note, that game Spare-Flair posted a while ago is actually quite fun.

if Oneill were to ascend to fight the ori, I think we can all agree that that should be the last episode, or the final arc of the last season.

I'd love to see both teams meet, and give funny judgemental looks to their counterparts/clones.

You know, Mitchell vs. Sheppard, Sam vs. Rodney, Teal'c vs. Ronan and Teala, Daniel vs. everybody else.

Daniel would probably be Teyla's counterpart, actually. They both tend to handle the cultural relations aspect. I think it'd go like this:

- Mitchell and Sheppard have a beer in the cafeteria and talk about piloting.
- Sam deflects Rodney's advances and cringes at the story of his subconscious appearing to him in her form last season.
- Teal'c tries to do the warrior bonding thing with Ronan, but Ronan just shrugs and goes off to brood somewhere.
- Daniel tries to learn everything Teyla knows about Athosian culture and all of the exciting Ancient secrets they've learned in the Pegasus galaxy.

lacks conflict, although Rodney vs. Sam is always a pleasure to watch.

Or the Movie in case that is how SG1 ends & then certain characters go their own way like Jackson to Atlantis & then the third spin off

i'd much rather see BSG get $$$ for a spin off, than another stargate show.
