They made a whole group of people like that. They were in the New Guardians books and they gave three of the team AIDS in the first few issues. I kind of want to read the books just because of how bad it sounds.

Realistically! what would most Villians do with their ill gotten gain?!.. hehe" BLOW IT!".. so it stands to reason that you would have a dude who gets powers from it!.. from what i heard ( not that i use the stuff!) most people think they have Superpowers and can fly off it anyway!

M.E.L.- is COOL!! i dug the time brainy 5 went all Psycho and invented this Crazy device it was going to destroy the universe ( doesnt it always!) and the only way they stopped it was for MEL to eat it.. which gave him a bad cause of evil device bent to universe destruction indigestion and drove his ass crazy too! That dude is Cool!

Crimson Fox... i got nuthin i remember she was around in the global guardians whch i read for maybe all of 10 issues and i was out) that outfit was lousy! she didnt even have a cool Starfox hair-doo!

Never had heard of Crimson Fox & actually had to Google her. It appears she was a member of the JL at one time & and could emit pheromones that stimulated intense sexual attraction in men. (as per the Wiki article).

I forgot the pheromone bit.
One of the sisters couldn't overcome her French accent, and the other one spoke fluent English.
They joined the Europe division of the Justice League when their headquarters was in France. It is a fun series, and the twins are interesting.

I remember her/them. Didn't one of them get killed in the Starman series? I loved the Starman series, it was amazing. Anywho, she was interesting but never read much with them.

I liked but didn't love the JLI era the way others do so that sort of tints my view of all those characters... Yes Giffen and Jones wrote funny dialog, and yes the characters were well defined, yes Beetle and Booster, Fire and Ice, J'onn, Metamorpho... All great characters under that era's JLI umbrella... But it wasn't what I wanted from JL and frankly they also had alot of their inherent dignity taken away during that time. That's great for comedy, bad for everything else, and EVERYTHING ELSE is what I used to buy comics for.

That said... I thought the Fox twins were an interesting concept that was never used to it's fullest extent possible and then... Boom. They were gone. Cest la vie.
