Grendel was awesome.

Loved the idea of a series from the super villains perspective. Plus, his arch was a f**king Werewolf. Before Twilight *****ed them all up.

Mage is a much-loved Wagner series from the 80's and 90's.

I've only read the Grendel/Batman crossover trade, so I don't know much about the character. It did spark my interest in reading more, though. I'll definitely get the forthcoming Grendel Omnibus.

Same deal with me as it was for Grimjack a few rounds ago. Never followed his actual comic per se, but I definitely checked out a book or two. Cool concept and looked like a cool series to read as well.

A little known character from some obscure sci-fi thing a few of you might have heard of:

Darth Vader

When the world 'villain' or 'antagonist' comes up..ol' Darth is one of the first people that I think of. Classic character and always thought his outfit/appearance was just awesome. Having said that, I have no idea what has been done with him in the comics as I only followed the original Marvel version for the first year or two that it was out and nothing beyond that.

Vader was once great, ..... until I saw all the prequels and was told he built C3P0 etc... it just got worse from there.

Vader is ok I guess. I've never been into Star Wars though.

Lone Ranger and Tonto and great though.

Mage and Grendel were both great series.

Vader is great and an icon but to me the greatest character of Star Wars will always be Luke.

Lone Ranger and Tonto are both great characters, hope they don't go the Green Hornet route with the new movie.

Unfortunately I had to wiki 'em, but even though I've never heard of the guy prior to this round, he looks pretty cool. If I had the cash I'd check his book(s) out...

In other words, I think that's a positive, lol...
