People still dont seem to get that they didnt have to give us anything. We could have had no pictures, no sound bites, no websites, etc. They could have done like every other movie, and just released the poster, and been like "f**k you, if you want to see the IMAX buy a I Am Legend ticket." But they didnt do that. They gave us awesome games, pictures, sound clips, a huge array of sites, and free tickets to people who live in major cities to see the first 6 minutes of the movie at private screenings. And people are still ungratefull idiots.
Cold-blooded.3. For those complaining about the IMAX showing in certain cities, to quote Harvey Keitel in Pulp Fiction "Move out of the sticks fellas!" They put it out there for major cities, if this makes you feel like your city is less important because its smaller then good....it is.

IDK, was it ever confirmed it would be the prologue? I know it's obvious, but still...So to be clear; the IMAX screenings will show the prologue. will anything else be offered?
Amen. I was at work waiting for everything to transpire. I work in Greensboro, NC and halfway thought that there was a possibility of a cake at the bakery within a 5 minute drive from where I work (as I'm sure a lot of people thought). I was a little irritated that everything was happening in the north and on the west coast, but it makes sense. I know a lot of people were pretty aggrivated with the guy in MN that had the last cake and couldn't redeem it quick enough because of the snow conditions.
Guys, it happens. If there is anything promotional to do with this movie, we will all reap the rewards eventually. So what if we just got a poster? It is an amazing looking poster (and very fitting). This is a promotional campaign. If there is something worth promoting and spreading word about the movie, we will know about it. That's what this is supposed to do (and I'm sure a lot of you guys have talked to someone about how cool this marketing was to somebody that doesn't even give a crap about Batman).
Just sit tight. There is no way things would have ended for this game this soon. There is a lot more that is bound to happen between now and the premiere on July 18th (which is a great gift for my 26th birthday!)t:
Same thing happened to the Vegas one. I called right after the stuffed animal was taken down on the site. The guy tells me that it was taken early in the morning, I asked what time exactly...around 11:30 ish as he put it. About 2 hours before the clue went up on the viral/site. The animal was only up for like 4 minutes too.
Hey everyone out there. I'm one of the people who was there when we got the two NYC cakes. Just posting to see if I can find any of the people I met there.
Also, that phone call was the single creepiest thing I've ever experienced and it was one hell of a fun game.
Phone call?
I am guessing that is how they linked it to the website...When we got the cake there was another number we had to call on a note inside the evidence packet with the cell phone. Called it, it was basically "Thank you for calling Rent-A-Clown. We now know who you are. Goodbye"
What the hell? Now how am I going to get a group picture with all the Hypers??Hey everyone-
I posted this elsewhere, but the tickets are now reading this: This screening will be monitored by security. No camcorders, camera phones or other recording devices are allowed. Please do NOT bring items such as these to the theatre as there is NO place to check them. Please allow extra time for security screening at the theatre.
So, be careful- pretty much all phones have them these days and it would suck not to be able to go in if you brought it with you or to have it confiscated...
Someone emailed me a link to this and I thought I would register and clear things up. I am the one who got the DC cake. I just happen to live a few blocks from the bakery (Firehook Bakery on Farragut Square) so I was able to get there within a few minutes of the address being posted (I got there around 2:05 or so).
I've been reading through this thread, and just wanted everyone to know that the reason it took me so long to call the # is that I was waiting for my roommate to get back from class (I told him I wouldn't cut open the cake without him). My apologies if anyone made the trip thinking that the cake was still there.
I did not mention anyone else coming for the cake, I just acted like a regular customer. So if they were told to put up a sign, it wasn't by me.

2 questions for some of you guys:
1--What happened to the shoot-out and Barhyte? I figured this final task would tie it ALL together??!
2--The theaters listed on WSS ARE NOT the only ones showing the TDK footage? Right?
Thanks
care to post those numbers?yeah, our phone had three contacts in it but they weren't full numbers. They were three number combinations each.
