Yes, I echo these comments, except that since I live in the UK, I dove n't even have the chance of a free movie ticket. Annoying. It won't matter at all to those of you in the USA, but this does make us feel a bit unloved.

Agreed. Anyone can participate on these things online, but surely to god a: 'If you don't live near any of 'these' locations, don't bother, would have been a little more acceptable a blow to bear. Instead, unless someone is willing to pay an incredible amount to get me over to the U.S. (hint) then it pretty much was unbelievably disappointing...

OMG!! You have an IMAX in Portland!?! No way!! They're only... ALL OVER THE DAMN PLACE!!!

There are hundreds of IMAX theaters, 5 of them are showing this. Dont make a big deal over the fact that yours wasn't chosen. You cant expect them to go out and do this big event in more than just a few places.

And to the people freaking out, no, these arne't the only places that will show it with I AM LEGEND. that movie opens in 2 weeks, and all printings should have the prologue. This is just an advance screening. Seriously people, chill out and stop always supecting the worst.

After looking into it a little bit it doesn't seem like this is free tickets to I Am Legend as some people have mentioned. I looked at the Chicago IMAX to see what they had scheduled during the time slot that they have listed and there is nothing. There wasn't anything scheduled until an hour or two later so I figured it was possible that they had it unlisted, but checked the New York one to see what was going on there. The New York IMAX has a showing of Beowulf scheduled for an hour after they have the free Batman thing going. I don't think they can fit I Am Legend in there during that slot. It would look like the free whysoserious tickets are exclusively for Batman related stuff.

Wow. There's an IMAX 90 minutes or so from my house. . But. . No. It's only in those 6 locations. What the hell? Or we not as worthy as people in those states? Gah.

If people werent taking this so seriously they wouldve enjoyed the whole process and the poster...it was announced that the trailer will be out ON THE 14-TH so for everyone believing this was it,the joke's on you.

One more thing. Notice it says first come first serve.

They're not putting a cap on how many tickets are being distributed. Meaning you're going to have to camp out way early or else get turned away. I guarantee you there will be people waiting in line before the theater even opens.

I don't like it - it is the first pic official or otherwise that I've seen and thought "meh"; in fact it is the only thing about the movie so far that has left me cold.

As for the limited Imax screenings, now some of you guys who were *****ing at us non-Americans for complaining about the lack of overseas involvment will know how it feels.

Eh I'm kind of bummed I don't get the imax tickets. After all I've participated in EVERY single thing they've asked of me and I live in Vegas. A fairly big sized city.

But we get the teaser poster at least.

And I'm just going to buy my I AM LEGEND tickets and have a seat reserved for sure instead of standing in line for hours to see 7 minutes of footage.
