I honestly doubt anybody can top the awesomeness that is Tim Curry in this remake, he was so damn kick ass as Pennywise.
I have some inside knowledge. Stephen King is now involved with writing the script.
They could get Seth Green for the older Richie.
No way in hell they can get away with that scene.

I'm still not sure. I love Gary Oldman and i think he is on of the greatest actors of all time but damn Tim Curry was unrecognisable, just a Heath Ledger quality performance where you can't even tell who the actor is.
No, he wasn't. They need to leave in the relationship between Henry and his dad, their grudge with Mike's family. Patrick Hockstetter should be in here to. That kid was the most frightening part of the novel for me. IT's connection to Derry needs to be represented as it was in the novel. I'd like them to keep that acid trip of a climax.
Yeah, the whole thing wasn't as great as it should've been, but Tim Curry was memorable in this role for a reason.
My post didn't imply that any of those were connected to Tim's performance. It was just stuff that really floored me when I read the book. What happened with Zombie's "Halloween?"
His resume seems pretty good. Are they still trying to make this a film? Or a (HBO type) mini series?

Sounds like what people said about Jack and Heath. Curry was great but also limited by the format and what they could and could not show on TV, so I actually believe that another great Pennywise is very doable, with a great script and a great actor of course.I honestly doubt anybody can top the awesomeness that is Tim Curry in this remake, he was so damn kick ass as Pennywise.
