Season 5 and 6 were the best the show had to offer.

"The Lost City" will be the best SG-1 Finale ever. They have not topped that yet

I do agree with Avid's comment about these last two seasons, it's just not the same without Jack O'Neal, plus the Ori are completely uninteresting villians.:O

It's not all bad though, the Baal storyline is great, and I really like the new General, and Doctor. Plus I love Vaala. :)

At Gateworld someone said that RDA in a 200 Episode Behind The Scenes Video said that he is ready to come out of retirement & get back to work. I do remember reading that he himself suggested in doing more then one simple cameo in one episode this year. So who knows we might see Jack full time again someday

Getting back on topic(They should add a Stargate forum here.:( ) I wonder what they have planned for our favorite boyscout in plaid.

I can't wait to find out, I hate that they are getting so secretive in their stories, there is not enough given to us anymore preshow. :O

Stargate is still on TV?

Yup and in it's tenth season, this year it matched X-Files as the longest running Science Fiction series on tv.:)

& if you add in Atlantis 13 all together for Stargate. I know they are 2 seperate shows but Atlantis is still in the same Universe as SG-1 & they mention time after time SG-1 this & that etc so for me its 13 years of Stargate

We probably wont get those WB Episode descriptions until about 4 weeks prior to the premiere. :(

And Ausiello's spoilers are often just his interpretation of tidbits that he hears that you cant really rely on those.

WE WANT SPOILERS!

Space Egyptians and space vampires > Space Christians :D

I love Ben Browder, and I honestly thought I could watch him in anything, but he doesn't seem to have the same chemistry as Jack did--and the show's gotten flat-out boring for me.

TK...hows my Capt. Marvel coming. ;) you awesome ninja you.

That's my main problem, is the team dynamic isn't the same, and like you said, kinda borish. Ben just isn't a valid replacement for Richard.
No Sireee!:o :down

Hey Kaboom. I've been away from home--away from my sweet, sweet tablet. I won't be able to get any work done on it until I return. :(

No Sireee!

I think that after eight years of built-up friendship and personal history, no one would have been a suitable replacement for Jack.

tk what software and hardware do you use?

I use Photoshop / Illustrator on my laptop. I have a Graphire Bluetooth tablet with me right now, but it can't hack the kind of hand-inking I did for Raphael (not to mention my poor laptop overheating if I don't keep it properly ventilated). I have a Cintiq at home.

Thought this was worth posting and keeping in mind. ;)

It's late and I keeping messing up this reply, so let me try one last time:

I've said it before, I'll say it again: Anger is the way to the Dark Side. Take a deep breath, dude. You're gonna pop.
And let me take this moment of Zen to clarify a few things. I've never used the "we're following the comics" as an excuse for anything we do (at least I don't recall having said that). What I've said is that we are locked into certain things dictated by DC Comics and Warner Bros. These are mythology points that we cannot change, such as Pa Kent dies, Clark and Lex end up as mortal enemies, and eventually Clark winds up with Lois sometime in the future. A lot of the other events are open to reinterpretation. This is something that's also very common in the comics as well.
Elements of the legend have been re-imagined or altered many times before (just take a look at the evolution of Superman's "S" or the fact that in one version Superboy was responsible for Lex losing his hair). And do I even have to point out that General Zod was created for Superman the Movie? This pivotal character didn't even exist in the mythology before that.
So, to reiterate: we are beholden to certain mythological story points. Others are more fluid. And anger will never lead to inner peace.
