Steven Spielberg Teams with Stephen King for Under the Dome

Maybe it's just me but this episode bored me. It wasn't a surprise except the speed at which they dealt with Max. I figured she'd be around at least another episode or two to threaten and villainize but that's pretty much it.

Someone leaving the group causes the Dome displeasure seemed obvious too, especially now that it's shown to be if not sentient then at least in some form aware and capable of directing activities of the ant-hive inside it.

I definitely agree with that article. The dome is a mechanism with which to allow people to tear themselves apart in the fight for control of power and resources and only really became imperative to find out how to shut it down when everything started going to real **** and becam uninhabitable. That's the main reason I'm still invested in the show, waitin for the town dynamics to really go nuts.

At the moment I'm waiting to see if a giant magnifying glass appears and incenerates someone because they displeased the Dome.

Max was not a good presence, and I'm glad she's gone.

I think she added some much needed spark before she got all nuts and gooey eyed over Barbie.

How is nobody talking about this??!!! Big Jim done lost his ****! Very first time this show has made me go "Oh ****!!!" And twice in the same episode! Nice

Can someone just kill the bastard already... The show is getting rather stupid now, all the convoluted **** to keep big Jim in the show is becoming really annoying.

If the dome can create weather, then why can't it create lightning and fry his fat ass?

Big has one of the more tragic falls into madness I've seen in a while. Once he crossed that line every time he has had to cross it since has become easier and easier. The excuse always being I do it for us not me.

Last night was probably the best episode the show has had in a good long while. Glad the character they killed off wasn't a particularly interesting one. Her death on the show probably accomplished more than her life would've.

It really irks that she's just blindly following Big Jim. I just know there's going to be a moment where she suddenly realizes Big Jim is lying and then she gets murdered and I'm going to be super pissed.

I'm really enjoying this show, but I hope next season is the final one.

Big Jim should've been named Big ******* but the censors wouldn't have that.

He's the villain of the Dome (the human one anyways) and so far he's done a good job of me wanting to see him dead already. Linda is such a follower too. She has not stepped up in any real fashion as a police officer and takes the lead of whoever happens to be the most standoff-ish in her presence. Right now that's Big ******* taking the stage as being in charge.

One more episode this season and we'll see who lives, dies, changes allegiance and just stands their ground.

I was surprised when Barbie didn't plead guilty, I guess he figures Jim wont hold up his end of the deal anyway, and Barbie owes that schmuck who cheap shotted him a whooping.

I felt bad about the chubby chick and I really hope Jim remembers everything she said when he gets what is coming for him.

I didn't understand how Junior knew that Barbie was kidnapping Julia from tasting cigarettes on Angie either. I can only guess that it had something to do with that one scene where Junior saw Angie and Barbie together outside the hospital. I still don't understand it after typing that. lol

Once again the deductive powers of the people on this show is amazing. The way Phil automatically came to the conclusion that it had to be Barbie and only Barbie to kill the chubby girl and burn the place down was so absurd. Well, no more absurd than the other stuff they have come up with.

Also, wouldn't they think it odd that the chubby girl had a gun shot wound in her chest. I know she was burned but I'm sure they could have seen the bullet wound. Maybe?

That baby dome must weigh next to nothing if they can haul it around on a kids wagon. For some reason I thought it would be something heavy.

I still hate the sentient dome idea. I do love that the military knows about Jim killing the reverend and is looking for Barbie. They are presenting it as something negative but I think the military is hoping to get in touch with Barbie to gain control of the situation in the dome.

I think the reason Junior knew is he assumed that only Barbie would help Angie light up but even that's a stretch of deductive reasoning. As if anyone else in town would not to let her smoke?

Phil I can see believing however reluctantly it was Barbie to burn the tower down but he should've realized he wouldn't kill to do it.

Everyone else is just convienently stupid to force the plot to work instead of finding a more clever way to do everything that happened without the collective town IQ dropping 50 points.
