As of right now your right to complain is revoked. On your PC? You didn't even pay? Gimme a break. It's one thing to feel robbed PAYING for a movie that falls short of expectations, it's another to b*tch when you STEAL it.

I'm not saying don't DL the thing--I own it as well. But I did pay to see it in the theatres.

I understand the gripes and complaints, it wasn't what I'd have hoped for as a movie myself. Especially considering my love of RoLo, buuuut there's a limit to how much negativity that should be spewed as a result. It's not just the complaining, it's the attacking anyone who doesn't see this film as atrocious and stupid comments like "It's the same as telling people to stop protesting the Irag war after they lose a loved one". Come on, duhr. no, no it is not.

I bought X1 & X2 and I have lots of Marvel comics and I wanted to see what's gonna happpen in the third movie because I'm a real X-men Fan since I was a little kid, but thank God I didn't watch X3 in theatres.:) That's the only thing that makes me happy about X3.

You guys make me laugh, Bwahahahahaha, here I thought I was the emotional one. Thanks weatherwitch.:D

wah, wah wah stop whining. If you don't like what I have to say or write, then just move on to something else. Apparently what I wrote struck a nerve enough for you to respond in a typical manner.

This is exactly what I mean. Did you even read my post? Again, anyone with the audacity to say anything positive about the movie is said to be responding in a "typical matter."

You can say whatever you want. We have plenty of complaint threads. The point is not to turn every thread into one, because believe it or not, we understand that the movie actually fell short for a few people and we know the reasons why.

You've made it abundantly clear, unlike your attitude, I completely respect your opinion.

And no, we're not leaving. We have every right to post on a message board about a movie we like as you do about a movie you didn't. Just keep it in it's place.

I don't post on the negative threads because I liked the movie. I don't post on the Cyclops thread because he's not my favorite character.

Do you see a pattern here? I'm not even calling you a loyalist to anything.

Is what keeping me up at night? a movie? No. But when I look at X1 and X2, along with watching the Dark Phoenix Saga, then reading it, and constantly remembering what X3 could've been I get a little bitter. Don't like it? Too bad.

FINE. It's been stated almost as much as you've complained that you're allowed not to like the movie.

I'll continue voicing my displeasure until the movies are restarted or a sequel is made in order to make-up for X3.

Good luck with that.

OK, so are we all in agreement that THAT was one of the dumbest, insensitive comments about a comic book movie that can possibly be made?

Thank you, Hulkster...for bringing a brief moment of unity to the boards.

You guys are very emotional, but I can understand because you're a girl. And I'm very happy if I bring a brief unity in this board.:)

You just keep going with the comments today, don't you?

That must be the reason we're sick of complaining. It's a girl thing.

And if you're happy that we all agreed that you made an unnecessary and insensitve comment, then I hate to see what makes you upset.

Ok seriously speaking, complaining isn't just a girl thing even the toughest man alive will complain if he was upset. But other guys just won't admit it.

When I watch X3 I felt angry, because my favorite superheroes were humiliated. How am I gonna be happy about that?

Imagine how mad those superheroes would be if they knew you watched it on your computer instead of a movie theater??

Only the Logan Followers would be very angry.;)

I'll log out for now.

I like Angel, Cyke, and Colossus. Really I do. These movies are a testement to how not to do a movie that's about a group of people.

And I like you guys too :)

Seriously, Angel can have alot more to do when he's portrayed as an adult member of the family, equal or a little older than Scott, the way he's supposed to be, and not yet another emo kid they picked up who doesn't know whether he likes his powers or not.

Yet something else we need to fix. Man this list goes on and on. So much for just a single scene rewrite, lol

But Fox doesn't deserve any money, so you did the right thing by not giving them a cent.

Actually...piracy has been very damaging to movie ticket sales. And with movie ticket sales going down due to piracy, studios are less inclined to spend more money to continue making sequels if they profits are going to be less, due to piracy. Which is one of the reasons why Fox wanted to end the series with X3 and go to smaller-budgeted spinoffs instead of an X4.

So, he didn't stick it to Fox by downloading the movie instead of buying a ticket, he helped kill X4.

Way to go. :down

How so? Your movie made it's money back and then some, an X4 is not out of the question. If anything he did us a favor by sticking it to Fox and their stupidity.

and those smaller budgeted spin-offs aren't going to do that well either.

There's not going to be an X4 anytime soon, if there's one at all.

Whoever thinks there's no chance of an X4... why do you think that? These are the same people that backed Big Momma's House 2 and Garfield 2...

Fox will make a sequel to just about any movie they can get their hands on.

Ah good point. Sounds like they're following the disney trend to make sequels to anything they can think of. 102 Dalmations, Cinderella 2: Dreams come True, etc.

Of course we all know what works of wonder some of those sequels turned out to be :ghost:

Yeah Hulkster, see what you did? You hurt FOX's feelings, now they don't want to make any more X-men movies for us.

Be careful, or you might also cause Metallica and Brittney Spears to go bankrupt and homeless. :)

They didn't have nearly the budget of an X-Men movie sequel. No big cast to bring back, no massive special effects budget (even with CG Garfield).

Is an X4 possible one day? Sure. Anytime soon? Not really.

Actually...the direct-to-video sequels have been profitable for Disney. Which is why they keep making them.

If Fox was following the *Disney trend*, the next X-Men movie would be a direct-to-video (or worse, direct-to-Disney Channel) sequel starring no one from the original trilogy.

They can always lower the budget to around where X1/X2 was. And about the big cast, look at the Ocean's Eleven movie series. You've got alot of massive stars with massive salaries, but those movies just keep getting made. And they've even added to the huge cast with each movie.

Eh, it's different. Everyone from the main cast was signed to X1/X2 from the beginning--no one had to renegotiate to bring them back for X2. X3 was a totally different story, and it inflated their budget.

With X3 being the highest-grossing of the trilogy, and with no one signed to a fourth they're still in that re-negotiation phase to bring them back. They're not the mega-superstars that the Ocean's movies have...none of them are at the status where they'll be willing to make major paycuts to make another sequel. The Ocean movies also don't have any major special effects.

They've already said there won't be another Ocean's movie after this one, which leaves them with a trilogy as well.

I would love to see an X4, but I don't think it's likely.

well... "no-one signed"... let's say the "expensive" ones haven't signed. I know that Kelsey Grammer and Vinnie Jones definetely signed for X4 or whatever

Fox doesn't deserve a single cent. I've watched X1 & X2 plenty of times in theatres, why would I give them my money in X3 if all I will see is disappointment.:marv:

I am sick f people complaining because it goes like this for 3 months....
But I really understand they have to how their feelings...
I also was very pissed because Rogue took the cure...
But I am over it now.... as far you can be over it anyway..
I liked X3 very much... but I also know it could have been better
