Stop making Final Fantasy games.

Actually I liked the draw system....it was fun to use, almost like the Blue Mage attacks in FF V.

It was really overpowered though. Considering that at the very begning of the game before you're even out of the first SeeD ship you could have 100 Death on both Squall and Quistis (or whatever her name was) junctoned to either your STR for 9999 dmg per attack or to your HP for 9999 health, they should probably re-vamp it.

Theres uh, some kind of FFVII thing for PS3 comming out sometime in the future. But I can't speak japenese so I don't know wtf it is.
that was a tech demo. There has never been any confirmation of VII coming to FF

Why make a remake of a game that was a mess? Who would buy that?

Id welcome a remake of VII bc I never played it. Thats one reason why remakes are made; to introduce new fans to a game/series.
Why produce a remake of an already considered great game, which has no where to go but down? Remaking FF7 sounds like a trick out of Hollywood's book.:o

Like I said, to introduce new fans to the game or series. Also its a nice treat for old fans

The problem is that Final Fantasy constantly changes. It seems that whenever we try to go back to one of the previous one,it sucks majorly (cough couugh Dirge cough cough Final Fantasy X-2) and if FF7 was it's own series,it'd be alot easier. If that one gets remade, people are gonna want a 6 remake and a 5 remake and an 8 remake and so on.

I understand new players don't want to bust out the PSX just to play a game with very outdated graphics, but I don't think that's much of a reason to remake it.

Aside from introducing new people to the game, I really want to see where Square-Enix can go with todays technology. Revamping the whole gameplay to be able to fight like in the Movie Advent Children. I want to see big scale towns, a Gold Saucer with hundreds of visitors and a couple dozen minigames, etc.

Why not use that technology and put it in a new Final Fantasy? I say don't fix it if it ain't broke.

Thats not a tech demo.

That's Final Fantasy VII: Crisis Core which is going to be released for the PSP.

thank you. That game is going to be a prequel to VII and is an action RPG

Then why does it say PS3 twice in that article?

I dont read Japanese so I dont know what that article says but Crisis Core is not a PS3 title. Trust me if FF VII was coming to PS3, people would know and there we wouldnt even be having this dispiute. Thats huge gaming news but it has not been stated by SE anywhere

I also can't read Japanese, but I can clearly see that the Hiragana and Katakana symbols aren't the same when the number 3 is mentioned. And I pretty much doubt that they would use two different ways of writing Playstation 3 out of sheer boredom.

*Edit*

Also I just noticed that in the Final Mix+ article they clearly write PS2. So if they were talking about the PS3 in the FFVII article they'd probably also clearly write PS3.

All I want is a Final Fantasy Tactic port for the PSP and I can die happy...
Besides don't treat Final Fantasy as a series, just treat it as a bunch of untitled games... except the lame spinoffs... I'm looking at you Yuna...

Crap! I'm gonna die... but at least lots of people will see the greatness that is Final Fantasy Tactics... and forget the lameness that wass FFTA...
wait a minute I have a Phoenix down! yay!

How did it suck exactly? I can't get why anyone says this.
It's just a matter of opinion. I started with FFVIII, and that's my landmark game. I just don't like FFVII. Not overly fond of IX either.

Started with VII, have everything on up to now. (Even tried out XI which wasn't that bad, actually, it was pretty good, I just didn't have time to play it as often as it takes to really enjoy it.) My favorite is still VIII, but VII holds a special place in my heart.
