Comics Storm and Jeans "Alikeness"

Now before I start off what this thread is about, please keep in mind that THIS IS NOT A VERSUS THREAD. I have read many Phoenix comics, and I have DEFINATLEY read many Storm comics. And for some reason, their is always something about them to that match eachother. Now I don't have the exact issue so please forgive me for some stuff. To start off, their was an issue when Mr. Sinister had turned Jean (I think the same issue when she stopped those bombs from terrorising the place). In that issue, she had turned on everyone and Wolverine was the only who had talked her out of it. When she started turning back good, she did a glance. It was like her head was looking behind her. Now in Uncanny X-men #147, Storm did the exact same glance at Colosuss when he was taling her out of her "dark side". AND, their was an issue in Ultimate X-men when this lady with 6 arms was attacking Iceman, Cyclops, Kitty and Jean (with Phoenixs' powers). Then Jean had attacked her and the lady was like "ahhh!" then Jean said "Hush" and blew her back. Now in another issue of Ultimate X-men where Storm had found Logan in a bar, Logan had through someone out the window aso Storm could use her powers . Then the men were like "the heck is she--", then Storm said "hush" then blew them back. I think that Storm is eventually gonna become like Jean someone (ex.get classified as Omega). Now remember that "what if" issue where "storm had the power of Phoenix''? Well I believe that they chose her because she is very powerful and that it probably has something to do with their friendship. Now I ask that ya'll forgive me because I can't really sum it up. And then it was another issue where storm was possessed by the brood embryo and she said something similar to what Jean says about Phoenix..Ororo had said something like "I am it. We are one" and right their I just thought of Jean. And I know ya'll can't forget Uncanny X-men #165 where Storm gathered the energy of an entire galaxy just like how Jean destroyed on... And plus, in that Marvel Superhero special 1991, Storm risked her life to save the world just like Jean risked her life to save the universe. And Storm, on countless occasions, have saved a country as well as Jean saving other stuff besides the universe. I don't know if ya'll didn't notice, but it just has always been a suspicion to me and I was just wondering...

Kitty in the latest issue of Astonishing is in the same pose as Wolverine, is in the same position as Wolverine. Even says "Now it's my turn" like Wolverine. Just like that classic line in Dark Phoenix Saga. She's also a fighter like Wolverine. They both have brown eyes. Oh and in the AOA she had 3 claws like Wolverine. They've both had run ins with Sabretooth. They've both hugged Jean in similar positions as well in both panels. They've even both risked their lives to save the world. The similarities are uncanny, they match eachother...I suspect some conspiracry going on. I wonder....what wikipedia says. YAY!

What I wrote has nothing to do with Jean, but more to sarcastically point on the fact that you're stretching these similarities. All the X-Men have pretty insteresting backgrounds and childhoods.

Start digging for similarities that are surface only. The example I posted of Kitty and Wolverine uses your same exact criteria for "similarities" which between 60 years+ of comics and writers like Claremont having the tendency to repeat dialogue, and even story themes, then all the X-Men are "the same" to you.

By the way the 6 armed woman is Spiral. For someone claiming to be some great x-fan and having so many books, you sure can't tell by what you say. Or did that summary you read somewhere online didn't mention her name?

You get plenty of stuff from summaries. You've even made a comment before about reading X-Treme and then going on to ask what X-Treme is, so don't act like you know more than online summaries will tell you.
(what does Jean have to do with anything? I never said she was the only important character. In fact I think Wolverine, Phoenix, Storm, and Cyclops are all important characters )

You're not even getting your own story straight. She's not six legged, she's six armed. She's a recurring villain who has ties to many X-Men including Longshot and Psylocke and is pretty important to their stories.

So who else is similar Javon? Storm has long hair just like Thor and they both can call down the weather, both call themselves gods, and they've even flown in the same positions. Man they are so similar! Who would have thought?

You know what I usually respect you for your post and your knowledge but was just uncalled for. Okay I'm on the fence about the whole Jean fan. vs. Storm fan thing so I'm neither. And you will never meet anyone who hates javon more than I do.

But what you just did was immature and unnecessary. I understand you most likely hate javon but you need to learn when to stop. This is his thread and you come here and the first thing you do is post some sarcastic and rude post. Really think about it? I was in your situation when I was a young newb but you need to learn that javon will always be here. To come into his thread and pick a fight is stupid. I hate the kid but here, I'm siding with him. I did a favor to everyone by simply stating that this was not a versus thread, then ya'll got the nreve to say "will it ever end"? That is just rediculous. And our arguement had nothing to do with the fact that were Phoenix and Storm fans. Now you can obviously see that he/she started that crap first.
