Nature's Rising said:One thing I love about it is that Storm is leaving me guessing what she really is. One moment she holds back and shows compassion, the next minute she's like god. I mean people get annoyed by her cockiness, I don't IMO. It's practically an expression that she is potentially very powerful and has been labeled as one of the most powerful mutants ever to exist in Earth. Her character is developing to extents that we never could've thought of. If she feels nature and could be hurt only by disrupting the its law, it is an implication that she is in fact has the potential to be one with it. Being one with the ecosystem already is practically godlike (Gaia, Hera, etc.), and if she can achieve that, then she is in fact more powerful than we thought, IF she ever shows that (unlike Prof. X and Magneto who didn't try to be one with the psychic plane and the magnetosphere respectively because they might die like what happened to Joseph and Chronomancer).
Although those scans from HandsOfFate on X-Men #147 showed how powerful Storm could be if she doesn't hold back, and mentioning that her powers are somewhat infinite...dude, that's like omega level; having the potential to do anything based on the design of your mutation (e.g. Bobby with his control over water). But I'm not implying she is omega like Jean because of the fact that she is portrayed right now as only a bride rather than developing her powers more. She might be one. But it is possible that she is just a really really powerful alpha.
Bottom line is, Storm reminds me of Jean in the issue #147 of X-Men where she is having infinite power and the X-Men combined could not defeat her.

aidol said:hmm....in some ways they are the same, but in many ways they are different. Storm is a powerful woman who is a born leader. Jean Grey isn't much of a leader, more of a follower, but if given the chance would probably do well leading. Storm is more confident than Jean.
