I actually just finished a Berserk binge a few weeks ago. I got to the point where I left off last time and despite it being a few years, not a lot more happened. The guy only puts out a few chapters a year these days.

It went from dark and gruesome as **** to awesome friendship times to holy ****! Now we're at less happy friendship times but still better than it was. That manga is ****ing weird.

Speaking of Beserk, that new Berserk anime this summer.... boy oh boy who in the industry messed up that bad.

Those PS2 style CGI was nightmarish at best, sad to see it happen to one of the most loved stories in the history of manga.

He's back on a monthly schedule now, and has confirmed he's written/draw the next nine issues. They're off the damn boat and Casca's cure seems imminent....the world is good.

Humanity at its worst. Murder. Monsters of every shape and size. Demons. The occasional nice thing. People getting broken and becoming quivering shells of their former selves or rampaging monsters. Also, a metric ****ton of rape.

A bit like Game of Thrones.

I've been following this thing for ages...getting 6-10 issues out of him a year is a vast improvement from the 2-3 he had before the Ganishka arc ended. Helps that he's no longer drawing the damn thing all by himself and his weird side project is done.
