i think a goodway to introduce the powerful; rogue is by having an opening scene with rogue in the danger displaying her new powers and storm would be talking to beast as to how she got these two other "mutant gifts" (which would be the cure wearing off cuasing some mutans to grow stronger version of these powers) and just as bad luck as rogue would have these amazing gifts did have a curse. her touch now not only absorbs life/powers but her touch is not delicate anymore (this explains how the cure in some can highten thier powers), cue a comedic scene where she picks up a glass cup only to break not willingly...anywho i think that would be great

So just out of the blue she has super strength and flight due to the cure.. if so... then that would mean other mutants who happened to take the cure would have to be altered aswell. I say have Miss Marvle as a school teacher (substituing for Jean Grey :( ) or as a new student. Then have Rogue get in contact with her as soon as her powers suddenly over run the cure and turn for the worse, permantly absorbing the ablities and disabling Miss Marvle for good.

Teaching Rogue (as well as the viewers) that there's no way around changing who you are and learn to accept being diffrent from those who happen to be around you.

I like this better.

Yea I agree with this idea.

I was also thinking of how Rogue's absorption powers could come back in a dramatic way. I was thinking they could get her into a situation where someone goes over the edge of a cliff or some other high place, but Rogue manages to grab onto their hand just in time to stop them from falling. But that's also when her powers come back and by holding on to this person, she's killing them. Left with no other choice, she has to let them fall.

I'd like to see them take it easy with Rogue for atleast 1 x-film. Gambit will most likely be introduced in X4- allow them to start a relationship by the end of the film. Then somehow show the x-men or the villians getting a hold of magneto's machine from X1 that turns humans to mutants, ending in a cliffhanger in that respect. Then X5, give her back her gift, then just have her take super-strength permanently from another character- maybe Juggs or someone. No flight though, that would be pushing it a bit.

The problem with that is that Rogue would be devestated for much of the movie, so we'd have yet another weak-willed Rogue. Likely we wouldn't see the tough Rogue until right at the end of the movie, when she finally overcomes her issues and uses her new found powers for good.

For my own X3 book I used that her x-gene transformed into more powers....
Because I liked that idea and so Rogue doens't come of like a murderer

Well maybe not though the "entire" movie... I'm sure with Gambit around he will be trying to bring Rogue out from her shell while in devestation mode. I'm sure seeing the 2 interact with each other would be nothing but great which makes me really do believe we will get the Strong and confident Rogue once Gambit shows up.

I think they should introduce Gambit and let him ask Beast and Storm why Rogue is so distant. Beast then would tell Gambit that Rogue received her mutant powers back when she was making love with bobby for the first time. This caused Bobby(former X-men) to be put in a comma. Rogue afterwards left the x-men and ended up in a life of crime. From there she tangled with another mutant sucking her powers dry and gaining super strength and the ability to fly.

Maybe Rogue could be a horsemen for Apocalypse and he could give her the strength and flight. That was just a possibility allthough it would never happen and I dont think I would want Rogue to be a Horsemen.
