I rather go with the "Cure" altering her power by making her absorption 2 times worse and making her super strong. I don't care much for her flying around since Storm hardly ever walks now. The general audience might think ideas are running out on this franchise.

Storm should be recast. Most of the others I don't really care either way. Hugh Jackman, Rebecca Romijn & Ian McKellen leaving would hurt the film. In particular McKellen is vital to the part of Magneto. He shouldn't even be in the film if McKellen isn't there. Just make Storm the leader in that case and bring back Magneto in a later film with another actor.
