Summer break otherwise known as "I'm free!!!"

Damn, wish I was still in school and have 3 months with nothing to do. However, summer is still pretty fun even with a full time job, just nice to have warm weather. Plus, I've already got some good plans, Cubs games, tickets to Stone Temple Pilots and Van Halen, Lebowskifest in July and random streetfests around the Chicago area, along with training for the Chicago Marathon all summer, which will probably be more painful than fun, but it'll be nice to run along the lakefront.

I'm sorry for those who need to find jobs, I'm still just a kid.

I'll be studying for the MCAT this summer so no vacation for me!

Uh...it's April.

For me summer is more psychological than literal.

Summer begins when there's no more work tying you down at school.

So, luckily, got all of my work done and from here on out- although I'll still be living on campus and attending classes for three more weeks- the fact that the work is done and I have no exams, more or less, college has officially become more like an annoying summer camp than a chore. :cwink:

Don't know if that makes sense... simplest way to put it. There's a psychological summer break and a literal summer break. Due to work being done, I'm more or less a free man.

I graduate May 10 and will no longer get a summer vacation... ah well, now I'm in the job hunt which sucks pretty bad. If anyone wants to give me a job I'd be down.

I just went through the job hunt. Careerbuilder > Monster

Summer vacations were great until I turned 16, that's when my mom told me I had to get a job.

I need to take a class to brush up on Code so I can fail my licensing exam.

As of this Saturday, not only will it be summer, but I will have finished my undergrad!
