I thought the Bar Tender from the bar in part 1... Where Wolverine first steps into the picture was supposed to be back for X3.... was that sequence cut?

Prompting him to have a battle of words with Xavier over the ownership of the body.

People have brought this up in the deleted scenes thread, but since I have special questions regarding just this specific scene, I'll contribute here- maybe you can help me:

-We saw Logan leaving the mansion, and the next scene we see of Logan he has his hoodie and jacket off, ready for a fight in the middle of the forest. That just felt like a rough transition to me in the film, and I was wondering if anybody else thought the same. I don't know too much about the bar scene, but I'm wondering if it belonged there and could make it feel less edited. Plus the holes/no holes thing in the shirt- something just didn't feel right about the editing for the forest.

According to the novelization, he'd torn up his clothes after Magneto tossed him in the woods, so he went into the bar, and got into a big fight to get the clothes off one of the bikers--then as he was leaving called the feds because they were making crystal meth in the back of the bar.

I'm assuming that's the scene with bartender, if they ever filmed it.

They had to have changed it for the film if it was ever shot (and I believe we saw a call sheet so it was). Because Logan is wearing his hoodie and leather jacket before the forest when he leaves, and the same outfit when he gets back to the mansion after the forest.

The editing for the forest stuff was just weird- I started another thread titled "Scene out of Place?" (or something like that) that talks about the editing right before the forest scene too...just doesn't feel right, and it feels like it could've been more powerful (not complaining though, because I loved the film).
