Ridley could easily be resized. They already screw with the scale, since most of the Pokemon are supposed to be smaller than they are in the Smash Bros. games, and Kirby in reality is only supposed to be 8 inches tall. Plus there's Bowser, who's height changes in every Mario game.

You're talking about relatively small changes in character scale in comparison to taking a character like Ridley or Kraid, who are like three stories in height, and bringing them down to a human scale. Sure, I believe it would be easy to make them PC's... I just wouldn't believe Nintendo would do that.

Ridley wasn't very big in his first appearance. Plus, remember the Melee opening video, Ridley was just a little bit bigger than Samus there. I'll agree with you about Kraid though, no way do they scale him down.

They all have the same attacks and look pretty much the same. I would rather have them be the skins than Pikachu having different hats.

You are right about that, they all were just hats, except i lked him with ashes hat, but i think that was necassary.

The size doesn't matter. It's always changing. In SM64, Bowser is enormous compared to Mario. In Sunshine he's no where near that big. Ridley is do able. They could make him the size of Charizard or Bowser and it'd be fine.

Just because you don't like the idea doesn't mean it's the popular opinion around here.

While I liked the hunters in MP3, I would still rather them scale down Ridley and make him the other playable Metroid character. I do think the hunters should be assist trophies though.

As has been said before, Kirby isn't to scale either, and Bowser's scale varies from game to game. If Captain Olimar or Chibi-Robo make it into the game, they would also have to be rescaled.

I seriously doubt that any of the Hunters are making it into Brawl before Ridley. Maybe Dark Samus, but not the Hunters.

In my mind Shiggy has got more say-so on certain things (even though he's producing) than Mashy. Anywho...

Given that the growing trend for Smash is representing characters from the their current games and accurately, I'd venture to guess that we're more likely to see The Hunters or Dark Samus from Prime 3 before we every see a scaled down version of MetaRidley.

Instead of doing Pichu or Raichu as skins, they can just add Thunder stones and De-Evolutin sprays to evolve Pikachu in battle, much like Samus becoming Zero Suit Samus. And which Pokemon have been confirmed as PCs?
