Ridley, because he'd be as big and bad@$$ as Bowser, but with the ability to fly.

Krystal from the Starfox series, because she's foxy.

And lastly (and lest likely), Ryu from street fighter, because he's got all the moves necessary to fit in perfectly with Smash Bros.' character roster.

Great choices. I want Ridely the most out of those Just because we only have 1 metroid charcter.

The only one I disagree with you about is Yoshi. It may be much different than many were expecting, but its a great throwback to SMW with the wings and fire (Blue and Red shells respectively) I only wish they added his earthquake stomp along with it.

Sakurai-san is really making this the majore end all Nintendo fanboys throw back retro modern title one could ever hope for.

We have:

More characters
More levels
Super moves
Online battling
Cds with various modern remixes and classic tunes
Trophies with mucho nintendo historic information
Collectible stickers (That I hope also has the classic Nintendo stickers along with them.)
Full fledged single player campaign action adventure with an actual story that looks more than just fight the giant hand.
Assist trophies that brings in more of the Nintendo universe than ever before.

Halos sales are that much more than Smash but yet, people make such a big deal regarding Halos release.

I hope Nintendo really steps up in marketing Galaxy and especially Smash, they are just as big as Halo if you ask me.

Smash hasn't even sold yet. I think it has potential to sell more than Halo 3. There's a lot of exposure and hype building up thanks to the daily updates. They need to get more ads out and stuff for it though. One thing it has going for it is the price of not only the game but the Wii. It's definitely going to convince a lot of people to get a Wii this year.

What I'd really like to have happen is to have a badguy from every franchise represented. We're going to have Donkey and Diddy, we need a villian for them, Though King K.Rool probably wouldn't work well. Fox and Falco, Andros wouldn't work but Wolf would be just fine.

Now, I'm not one of those *******s who comes in here and disses Nintendo, and I know that the Wii has been selling well, but you have to admit, more people would rather buy the currently best-selling and "safest bet" of the current gen consoles, the Xbox 360, and its Halo 3, than to experience a repeat of the Gamecube with the Wii, even for Brawl. Yes, the Wii will have Brawl, but no matter how much we all loved Melee, it didn't help the Gamecube beat the PS2 or Xbox, and I fail to see Brawl doing that here. In fact, I see myself with about twice as many games on my Xbox 360 than on my Wii. (I don't have a 360, but I do want twice as many games for it compared to the Wii).

Brawl will be the ultimate Wii game, and it better be better than Halo 3 (which I don't see how its better than Gears of War), and maybe one day SSB will have a bigger fanbase than Halo.
