They wouldn't do that b/c that's not how Pokemon battles are supposed to go.

ya, but the way they are in the game isn't how they go either... The perfect pokemon "fight game" would be one where you change point of views.. as the trainer you pic 4 moves to use during that fight for each of your pokemon. and once you have selected them you get the point of view of the pokemon (3rd person view though) where you control the jumping, the running etc... and you have four different buttons to use that move and when you use them you hear the trainer call out the move. Personally that would be a kick ass game. the pokemon stadium games get boring due to the fact the pokemon in them are so stationary... its really boring waiting for each turn to fight, when the show is much more in your face and action packed (as it should be)

i mean blastoise has no shot in hell since it isn't even close to being as popular as charizard.

That would be much better. The Stadium games were stupid with not showing the pokemon actually attacking each other. The handhelds atleast have an excuse due to lesser technology. It always bugged me you never saw them hit each other and that Fly only had the pokemon fly 2 feet above the ground.

I doubt anything new. Better graphics, new world, new pokemon. I read there will be no new types, but new type combinations.

Sonic (this is one rumor thats been around since 2001)

Its also been stated that certain characters will be drastically changed (I'm guessing Ganondorf since it makes no sense that he's a Captain Falcon clone) and others will be cut (likely the Ice Climbers).

IMO, this is who needs to be added:
Ganon, OoT style
Ash, using various Pokemon for his special moves
Diddy Kong
Blastoise (although I know this has little to no chance of happening)

IMO, this is who needs to be dropped:
Ice Climbers (they're alright, but if you need to make room......)
Pichu
Marth
Dr.Mario (it should just be an alternate costume for Mario)
Young Link

i like the idea of the characters you want to get dropped, except for young link since he was one of my favorites.i really think it would be awsome to see ash in the game.

is this game gonna be available for the gamecube when it comes out or just the Wii?

While that pic looks pretty cool, you really need to see WW Link in action to appreciate how beautiful the graphics are.

Have you never played Wind Waker? He will essentially be Young Link with a new skin. This is just for the Wii.

honestly no i havent played. i do want to becvuase it does look like a cool game but i never got around to renting it. but IMO i like the way young link looks compared to the cell shaded version. not based on abilities just on looks. but i can see the cell shaded version making it into the game.

I disagree with everyone that say the Ice Climbers need to be dropped. I enjoyed playing as them, and would like to see what new moves they could get in Brawl.

BTW, Telekinetic, you should def. pick up WW. If you don't, then you're missing out on what is probably the defining GCN adventure. (At least until TP is released.)

personally i didnt like using the ice clibers but whenever i played vs mode i faught against them just becaus it looked like more oppenets. i gues i never really liked them because i necer used them.

yah thats what i thought too. i just liked him more since he was the kid version, he seemed to move faster and he shot fire arrow. idk i just liked him more than the adult version.
