i couldnt find a thread for this book so i started a new one... what was up with that fill in artist on the lastest issue? the art was so horrible i couldnt read the book... it hurt my eyes

Really? I thought he fit the tone of the book perfectly.

yeah last ish was pretty darn good. i really wish he would quit f'king around and finish the camelot falls story, with that arion guy.

it seemed terribly sloppy and rushed to me... going from pacheo to that... ya... kinda bad

I dont remember Pacheco being this slow, ever.

Thats why its a fill-in son, its not supposed to be the same. Meh, I liked it, gave me a silver age feel to it.

the script is already finish? i thought it was busiek taking his time:huh:

Busiek's run has been very weak, and the recent fill-in was no exception. It's infinitely better than Johns' crap, but it's a crying shame this comic essentially "replaced" Rucka's Adventures of Superman.

I didn't read the last issue fully yet, but I skimmed through it. Reminded me a lot of an 80's one and done issue, very nostolgic. I'll get around to reading it eventually, but even the look/dialogue reminded me of older things.

Next months issue gonna be a nother filler?

i dont want the art to look like he copied pacheo, but i expect a similar level of quality... the fill in they just did for action had incredible art, this should be no exception... there are enough talented artists in this world the we shouldnt have to put up with crap like this...

i've been quite pleased with his run so far. and pacheo's art has been quite impressive. i think he really stepped up his game coming onto this title, compared to what i've seen from him before (which was solid art, as it was)

I LOVED the last fill-in. It felt like an old issue of WW (odd, I know emo-confused.gif ) from the 60s or something but without (most) of the camp. Just the way the dialogue was written and the characters characterized, it really felt like a classic story to me. Like someone from any era could read just that issue, and know exactly who Wonder Woman was, exactly who Superman was. Definitely the best fill-in Busiek's written yet.

Anyone looking foward to the Krypto issue?

The Krypto issue is not coming out. They thought they found away around the legal matter (Superboy) but DC said no to it so the next issue coming out is the Camelot Falls part 2.

A one-in-a-million intelligent post by Leaguer I can agree with.

You're right. That is one intelligent post you happend to agree with out of one million intelligent posts.

the camelot falls storyline was great, especially the issues dealing with that escaped monster. its the fill ins that have been weak.

Busiek is filling in on two issues of Wonder Woman once Picoult is off the book.

...and I'll be buying WW for two more issues.

the lastest issue was god awful, this a superman book, and fill in or not, it felt like a bad plot from smallville or something.

Rucka should be writing everything at DC. EVERYTHING. I don't care that it's not possible.

...Hamnoo?
