I have two questions about the upcoming DTV:

1) Do you think that since Lois & Clark were engaged during Superman's death that they will carry that in the DTV and to complete the story, have Lois & Clark get married at the end?

2) I was checking around and there is a story called Superman: Doomsday & Beyond. This book had the Bryne run and Lois & Clark beign engaged leading into Superman's death and return (don't know about the wedding). Do you think we'll be getting that in the DTV?

I doubt Timm will go in that direction, but I don't know. From what I remember from Comic Con, the story is supposed to follow the comic DoS. There will be some changes, but I specifically remember someone from DC saying comic fans will like it. So......that means they may just do a straight up recreation in cartoon form, which will include Supes/Lois/Clark being engaged. Or...it could mean they are going to amp the action and make it looks visually appealing.

LOL...I trust in Timm's work, and I think he has a good handle on Superman regardless of whatever story he does with him in it. The only failure he's had in my eyes is STAS' Father's day, and that is just because of that corny disco beat playing through the entire episode.

I read the synposis (spelling grammar) and the plot seems to be not just DoS but WwS and RoS. The DTV is either based on the novel version or that Doomsday & Beyond book.

I haven't been keeping up with the latest news. Where did you read the synopsis? I'd like to check that out.

I haven't read Doomsday and Beyond, but I have a feeling I know what it's about. LOL...the rematch, right?

Hmmm....it will be interesting to see what they do with this. This isn't in continuity with STAS or JL/JLU, so it's all open. I for one am really looking forward to seeing something new from Timm and Co.
