Superman getting his red undies back. Good or bad?

The only variation of Superman's costume without the trunks that I actually like is the MoS suit. I still don't get why the comics don't just copy that design (or a close approximation to it). That's about as good as they're ever going to get, in my opinion.

Having said that, my preference is the red trunks. Bringing the trunks back for Superman and the oval back for Batman has pretty much made my week.

I mostly liked the MoS suit for how much it didn't deviate from the classic design more than I did for what they added. I'd rather just have the classic suit with some kind of red and yellow belt over the exotic-looking additions to the bodysuit.
