World Supermans Suit

I'm not a huge Superman follower (more x-men & spiderman). I watched the animated series as a kid, i've seen the movies but thats about all. I liked Super Returns alot I'm just wondering why is it when he was being shot by the big machine gun his Suit didn't get ripped or anything? I know in the cartoons and stuff nothing ever happens to the suit. But why not in the movie? Is it a supersuit or something weird.

Suposedly it's made from fabric that was in his ship - ie it's kryptonian and impervious to bullets and such.

It does get ripped when he fights really badass villians though, like doomsday. A lot of other villians don't go for the hand-to-hand as much and use beams / kryptonite / etc.

Other comics say he has an invisible aura that prtoects him and anything skin tight. pretty bogus, but it explains why his cape rips but his suit doesnt.

He is much weaker. The writers didnt want him to be invincible so they majorly powered him down.

i think something is a little mix up there for the superman suit.

First we have 2 kind of superman .

first is before john byrne era and the second after john byrne era (1985)

please don’t mix this two era

first era superman was very powerfull
the kent (johnatan and martha )was dead
he was superboy and clark kent life was less important in storyline of the comic(because before each comic number was a different story)it was center on superman only
and the suit clark wear was made of material of is blanket (he have only on suit)
he made it himself
the suit was indestrutible and if someone ****e the suit the person have some of is power (one time superman put is cape on a car’s hood and the car hood was indestrutible
some story in 60,70 was less logic. Please dont try to find the logic in that
before they dont want to explain superheros power. they just do it that it, ! no explanation


john and some other artist in end of70 begin the vogue of explain all super heros power with scientific manner


and afer byrne era

superman was less powerfull but with time he gain more power.
The kent are alive(for developing more human side on clark kent story)
He never was superboy he gain power with puberty.
More continuous storyline.
Martha made the suit with normal clothe
The suit is not indestutible this is the electro chimical made by is clark’s skin bond the moecule very dense only skin tight part is indestutible and not the cape
He have a lote of suit but he more cape because he have to change often of cape because of usury
And they try to explain is power with rational manner
