Sam and Dean will have to kill Fate? WTF?

SAM AND DEAN TEMPT FATE — After Balthazar (guest star Sebastian Roche) changes history and keeps the Titanic from sinking, Fate (guest star Katie Walder) intervenes and begins killing those that would have died on the ship. Castiel (Misha Collins) tells Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) that Fate is very upset with the two of them and the only way they can stay alive is to kill her. Mike Rohl directed the episode written by Bret Matthews (618).

Hey if Kratos can kill the three sisters of Fate, then so can Sam and Dean kill Fate.

But I bet they don't kill her.

ugh... this episode sounds like one of the most dreadful of the series... If the titanic never sunk... majority of the survivors would be dead today. So if FATE is killing there children and children's children... one must ask.. "WHY THE HELL DIDNT FATE JUST KILL THEM WHEN IT DIDNT SINK? INSTEAD SHE WAITED ALMOST 100 years...."

I'm feeling like there something much bigger happening than just killing of survivors. There has to be something happpening behind the scenes.

I think there's something much more personal than the Titanic as well, but I'm thinking Fate never showed up until now is perhaps she's/it's been locked up somewhere, much as how Death was locked up until Lucifer set him free.

It obviously seems like Fate will be killing off the children and their children of the survivors from the Titanic, but also destroying the changes that the un-sinking made.

Meh, I agree with spidey here. Seems contrived... and just another reason for the boys to go on their "there's always a choice" blah blah blah rants.

:whatever:

First Young Justice, now this? Go away. :o

Man I love making people rage by calling things mediocre. I don't even have to flatout tear it a new one. This is so easy. This forum is like a playground.

At least you did not hit him where it hurts with a specific show :woot:

I'd be worried to say that something flatout sucks, I'd probably get banned.

NOT LIKING SOMETHING I LIKE?

To each his/her own.

I once again have said that I am not a fan of the Titanic being used, but I understand the concept of this episode and why it'll end up being an important episode, imo.

And, I've been thinking about how Fate could possibly die and how it deals with season six all together. Back in "The Third Man", Balthazar mentioned how Castiel tore the script(destiny, in other words) and this episode, I think, will be pretty much the definite episode regarding this season as a whole, mostly because we finally see Fate(also, in other words, destiny), and I think this will be the starting point of Castiel having issues with his overwhelming powers. Why you ask?(hopefully someone asked, haha)...because I think Castiel will kill Fate with one of Heaven's weapons and he will have actually "tore the script" by destroying Fate/Destiny.

And speaking of the rants...I too get tired of hearing them at times...has it ever crossed Dean's mind that God wanted the Winchesters to beat the Devil or is Dean still on the "screw God and everything and everyone except me, Sam and Bobby" warpath?

Five actually, what's your point?

1.) It tickles my funny bones to see you showing up to only bash something because I NEVER see you going on a thread to say a postive thing. Good job

2.) I am very disappointed of your parents for letting a five year-old girl go on the internet.

Still on the warpath, but that's a pretty common trend for this show. Takes ages for any character development to happen. I mean, how many years and short ends of the stick did it take before the family stopped making deals with demons?

I'm sorry, but someone as young as you is not allowed to be a member on here. I'm afraid I will have to ban you until you grow old enough to converse properly with people.

I'm so confused now. How is it that Balthazar will be able to undo the Titanic, when back in "In The Beginning" Castiel stated that the events in the past would have led to the final end result one way or another? I've been wondering that since "The Song Remains The Same". If destiny couldn't be changed, why would Anna even bother going back in time in the first place? I wanna say the writers are showing their inconsistent storytelling sides, but at the same time maybe this is just proving that only the angels are with that whole destiny thing. I think it's like what Dean said in "Lucifer Rising" about how destiny is just a buncha lies to keep the angels in order, which would make sense. And with everything unfolding the way they did it just kinda confirms destiny's real in the eyes of the stubborn angels.

If that's the case then I guess that kinda let's this episode slide. And it would prove how Sam and Dean are still alive. I think everything's just pure coincidence but everyone is out to make them believe it's a part of some grander scheme. Eh, I'm thinking too hard. But I'm not too excited about this.

Oh....and...

AH. HA. HA.

Destiny can be changed, as in Episode 3 of this season, Balthasar said to Cas, "You tore the script" and even Chuck said in Lucifer rising to Cas and Dean ," What are you doing here? You are not in this story!". This says that destiny CAN be changed. Michael interfered in "Song Remains the Same", if not fo him things would be different.

It took about two seasons for the family to stop making deals, haha. But, that's what I'm saying...Dean will probably have this idea up until the series finale or whenever God finally shows up and says "Listen boy, I've been on your side for the entire series!!!", lol.

Hahahahaha

Well, understand that in "In The Beginning", it seemed like Zachariah and the other "higher-ups" were just sending Cas and Dean on a dog chase to waste time, so it would make sense for Castiel to say that you can't change the past because Anna literally wanted and could have changed the past.

Now with Balthazar bringing back the Titanic, I'll reserve all of my judgment until I see the episode, but I'm pretty sure it'll all make sense. I would not doubt it that Fate goes after Sam and Dean mostly because she can't locate Balthazar.

lol, +100000000000000000000!

Nice that the troll is finally banned.

OT: Dean should be more open minded imho and not blame everyone all the time.

Hey, has anyone seen any of Supernatural the Animation so far? It's up on youtube. It's pretty awesome so far. Nice to hear Jared Padalecki reprising the role of Sam and Jensen will be reprising Dean in the last two episodes of the season but his replacement does a solid job, imo. plus it's cool to see what twists they have for the adapted episodes from the first two seasons of the show (there's not a lot, only four in the first twelve eps) plus they'll be showing some new stuff that happened while the Winchester bros were younger. which is pretty cool. they're also adapting the Rising Son story for the anime.

I plan on watching them when they are all out.

I THINK season six ends filming today. With that being said, I bet we'll be hearing some finale spoilers pretty soon.

Episode 18 summary:

“SUPERNATURAL” — (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET)
“Frontierland” (TV-14, LV) (HDTV)

SAM AND DEAN RETURN TO THE WILD, WILD WEST — While searching for a way to defeat Eve, Dean stumbles upon Samuel Colt’s (guest star Sam Hennings) journal in the Campbell library. Realizing Samuel might have the answer to their problems, Sam and Dean ask Castiel (Misha Collins) to send them back in time so they can meet the man himself. While Sam is a bit reluctant to time travel, Dean is beside himself with excitement to return to the Wild, Wild West. Guy Bee directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb & Daniel Loflin with story by Andrew Dabb, Daniel Loflin & Jackson Stewart (##617).

I think this is a sign that the Campbell storyline is not dead unlike the family, imo.
