Thanks Morg, I knew there was a thread already, just couldn't find it. It will be a shame if this show doesn't return, I was curious if the kid had any link with the BIG guys? I know the little ones attacked him earlier, but that was before he started "changing". I really hope it comes back.

Really hope it comes back. It was like watching part of a Spielburg movie every episode. It really had that epic and family friendly feel to it. Great show.

damn that sux ass i was really looking forward to a second season but i figured we wouldnt get one ive been seeing stuff all over tv guide channel talkin about the fall shows coming back and Surface was never mentioned but they didnt say it wasnt coming back either it just wasnt mentioned either way i was really looking forward to more Lake Bell in bikinis too

Agreed!! Did the "monsters" take over the world? Did the kid have any bond with the big monsters in order to control them? Did the beasts cause any type of global change? Alot of question need to be answered still.

Yeah, it was canceled. And it's a shame. I hope sci-fi will pick it up and give us some answers.

im actually really surprised they cancelled this because when it was on there was a pretty big buzz about the show i remember seeing all kinds of stuff on tv guide channel interviewing the stars of the show all the time i mean i figured it would get cancelled cuz they always seem to cancel great shows like this but its still surprising cuz of how good the show was actually doing
