Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains

Russell was told by production that he couldn't say a thing about Samoa, considering how well he did and because of he might of been the winner. They wanted to keep him unknown. That Parvati clip only further proves that she had way too much pre-season information about Russell.

I think there is alot more that goes on that we don't see. The production team has always edited in ways that are favorable to some, and unfavorable to others.

Oh definitely! They film these people 24/7 for 39 straight days so there are hundreds and hundreds of hours of footage they have that they have to cut down into a one hour show every week. There are tons of things that have an impact on the game that we never even get to see, that's why I never really take anything on the edited show at face value or believe that's how certain situations actually happened.

That's why I always hated the stupid fan vote thing at the reunion show even though some of my favorites have won it in the past. We only see an hour of edited footage, so it's really dumb to have people vote since the editing can favor or disfavor whoever production wants.

I wish they would go back to editing the show like earlier seasons when they focused on the ENTIRE cast and the entire story as a whole, instead of this awful editing they have now where they pick two or three people and focus on them heavily and neglect over half of the cast.

Boot list spoilers:

looks like Sandra is going to win this season. Most boot list sites are saying that she, Parvati, and Russell are final three with Sandra coming out on top (although they do concede that the winner is likely just speculation).

I can't believe I looked.

anyway

Sandra better not f'n win, they need to vote her annoying ass out.

Responding to spoiler, so read at your own risk:

The only consistant thing every spoiler list has out there is that Russell comes in third place with zero jury votes and that the final vote is a close one between Sandra and Parvati.

If the details about the later part of the game are true, Russell specifically and Parvati by association, make some moves later on that come back to bite them in the you know what in front of the jury. On the flip side, Sandra makes some game moves that catapult her to the one to beat.

Apparently Russell underestimates her like he did to Natalie during Samoa and thinks she won't have a chance in front of the jury, so he keeps her around. Little does he know that Parvati and Sandra make a winners alliance with each other and drag him to the F3 because they know they both can beat him.

Well, the spoiler list, if I'm not mistaken, got tonight's vote out wrong. Its gotten a lot of recent ones (with the exception of Rob) wrong. Perhaps it is a leak by the producers to throw people off after the last All-Stars list leaked?

At any rate, tonight's episode is a prime example of why I hate the final three instead of final two. The first juror goes home without an entire tribe even casting a vote for their juror. Every potential final two member should have a say in who their jury becomes. They should all have to shoulder that responsibility.

Dumb! Dumb! Dumb! That's all I have to say about tonight's tribal council.

I think you're looking at the wrong boot list, because the one everyone else is following got tonight's boot CORRECT and has had every single boot correct up to this point in the game.

The boot list accepted as being true was posted over at Survivor Sucks by a poster named SurvivorsUnite, he's gotten EVERY boot right thus far.

Agreed. Courtney's a useless physical player, so they better be praying for a merge next week.

And as for JT in next weeks promo.... he cant really be that dumb.......... can he?

I would hope JT isn't that dumb...

I liked Russell at first but he's getting way too cocky. Someone needs to knock him down

Idiots!
The ones that voted Coach off are idiots!!

The praying mantis or annoying Sandra needed to go. Both are so useless and they've made it this far?:cmad:

I dunno, I personally would like to know how Sandra got so cocky. She brushes off Russell taking out Rob and says "He's playing with the real deal now,"? Sandra won Pearl Islands on the sheer merit of being carried through the game by Fairplay and Burton because she was a weak player and only wound up winning because she was up against someone who had already been voted out and no juror in good consciousness could vote for Lil after she'd already been voted out of the game and brought back in.

Sandra + Courtney - I can't even count on my fingers how much I love both of these women. Loved Courtney being her sassy self, especially at Tribal Council with Jeff trying to call her out for being weak then her calling him "Jeffrey" :hehe:

Sandra played Russell the exact way you gotta play him. Played directly up to his paranoia and huge ego. She planted her own little seed in his trolly little head and he ran with it, then ended up trying to make a ploy to grab Coach's vote at Tribal Council (Which if you watch the Insider clips, Coach picked up on and called Russell out on). I love Sandra's "As long as it ain't me" strategy because it's simple yet I can't see anyone else being able to pull it of other than Sandra. No one see's her as a threat all, especially Russell, and that's where she'll get them. She's great at causing paranoia and playing on people's egos.

She's knows where the numbers or majority will go, and thus she joins in, but as soon the majority swings back she won't hestitate to vote out anyone. That gives her way more fluidity within the game instead of commiting to an alliance, plus people can't be mad at her at the end because she never promised them anything.

If those two women were the Final Two, I think I would just die of happiness. Coach - poetic justice and Sandra said it best in her voting confessional. He was spouting off about trust and alliances, but where was he last week when they needed him to save Rob after he promised?! Good riddance!!

I can't wait to watch Russell once again spout off about how he's in control of the game for getting Coach out, when he's has absolutely no idea that he's getting played, specifically by the women on the Villains tribe. I have no doubt in my mind that Russell is NOT the one in charge of his alliance. I'd bet, no I probably know, it's Parvati. Because he can't possibly accept that other people will be playing the game just as much as him, he's not going to see at all that he's getting played by the ladies until it's too late.

Candice, boy I feel so bad for you. She's quickly becoming one of my favorites right along with Sandra and Courtney. She's entirely waaaay too smart to be stuck on the Heroes tribe full of idiots and stooges. I'd bet a million dollars if it were Candice in charge instead of JT, the Heroes wouldn't be in the position they're in now.

Well, look at JT before the reward challenge, he thinks there's a woman's alliance and mouths to Russell "Hang in there". Somehow Russell's gotten JT to feel sorry for him.

Well, Russell voted for Courtney, so he clearly wasn't in on the plan to vote out Coach.

No, Russell knew Coach was going in his voting on confessional on the Insider he said it was a throw away. As I said, probably a chance at trying to show some sort of loyalty to Coach in an effort to get his jury vote.

Too little to late judging my Coach's comments in his Ponderosa clips.

As for next week, this is really where the cast not seeing Russell's game last season really helps him out. If they had none of them would ever even think of giving Russell an HII. So I can't say I'd hold it against J.T entirely as the dumbest move ever, since none of them know how Russell has played previously.

That was really my first red flag that he might just be that much of an idiot. The preview for next week just confirmed it.

This is the first season where I've hated ALL the contestants this early. On both teams. I can't think of a single likable person left since Bawston Rawb was booted. There's nobody here I want to win. Half are snakes and half are just useless.

SuperT I have no idea what you see in Courtney. She's more useless than a submarine with windshield wipers. Stick insect has sat out most challenges and completely sucked in the ones she's done. And all she does on the beach is moan and get more anorexic each day.

Egads, I detest Sandra and Courtney. Voting off Coach was a travesty. :down

Survivor is more than just a game about physical prowess. Who cares if they suck in challenges. They're both hilarious and are playing the game so I hope they rock on!!

Courtney was my second favorite castaway after Todd in China, and Sandra is my favorite winner ever.

Sandra = most undeserving winner aside from Vercepia.

There's no deserving or undeserving in Survivor for me.

If you make it to the Final Two/Three and get the majority of the votes from the jury you deserved the win. I may not like you as a winner or how you got there, but you deserved to win if you accomplish that feat over the 14-19 other players that couldn't accomplish it.

I'm pretty sure you've made arguments for why Russell is undeserving in the past.

(And I know he didn't win ultimate survivor, but he did win a lot of cash through fan-favorite)

Giving away immunity to anyone other than a close alliance member is a really dumb move anyway you look at it. You don't need to know how someone played in their previous season to know you don't give away immunity.

The Heroes think that the Villains guys are being pagonged because of a female Villain alliance which is not that too farfetched to think when you have Parvati on the tribe.

Of course, we'll look at it and say "Gosh, what a stupid move" but looking at it from the Heroes POV and what they assume, it's actually a pretty bold move and would give them the upperhand at the merge if they didn't read the Villains tribe so horribly.

The Heroes are thinking - Give Russell the HII, the Villains lose, they go to TC, the Villain ladies all vote Russell, Russell uses the HII, one of the ladies goes. They merge next week and Russell joins up with the Heroes to help vote out all the remaining Villain ladies.

Pretty well thought out plan, although of course we know that's now how it's going to work. :hehe:

But either way, yeah it's not he smartest moves, but we've seen dumber on this show. :hehe:

Is JT dumb enough to give Russell a hidden immunity idol? I guess we'll find out tonight...
