Survivor: Heroes vs. Villains

Russell must be really disappointed if he lost again...

He can join the club with Amanda if he does! :hehe:

Those idiot heros' are getting everything they deserve I could beat those schmucks. So for now i'm praying Rupert wins but seriously doubt it.

Poverty's play was genius and ballsy all at once. She guaranteed the outcome and ingratiated the two girls who were iffy in her alliance just brilliant.

Amanda is so dumb its sickening but not as dumb as JT.

...JT is on his own level of dumb.

He can join the club with Amanda if he does! :hehe:

Yeah, but Amanda lost because she doesn't know what she's doing during the final tribal council and you can totally bet she'd blow it again if she did. If I was on the show I'd totally take Amanda with me to final tribal, she'll practically write the check for you.

...JT is on his own level of dumb.

I think people are too hard on JT.
If they really do not know much about Russell, and he sees on the villains side that all the guys are being picked off one by one, it is kind of logical to assume there is a woman's alliance. With Russell acting like it was indeed so, I can see how JT would do what he did.

I thought it had been said that the other Survivors were made aware of Russell prior to this season. They might not have gotten to see alot because Samoa and HVV were filmed back to back...but I thought they knew of him and what he was like?

He was on the villians side though, that gives you at least some type of clue as to what kind of player he was. Also, you never give up immunity.

Nope, none of them saw any part of Samoa and they were not told ANYTHING about Russell and how he played or how far he went during Samoa and he wasn't allowed to reveal anything to them.

A rumor now surfacing is that Parvati and Danielle, who are both friends with the Survivor casting agent Erika Shay, were given inside information about Russell before the game started and were advised to ally with him.

The other players weren't given anything.

This is true but on the flip-side Sandra, Courtney, Jerri, Danielle, Tyson, and Coach were all on the Villains and they weren't necessarily evil or deceiving players their first go rounds either, so just saying he's on the Villains isn't necessarily an indiction they he's going to screw people over.

Them not seeing Russell's season before this one definitely helped him out a lot this season because had they seem him before, I highly doubt he would have lasted past the first Tribal Council.

Did anyone else catch Parvati rolling her eyes at Russell in tribal council?

:funny:

Missed everything until the reward challenge, but I'd wager that most of it was little else but Russell acting all ******** about last week's T.C.

As I thought. That preview from last week was all hot air. This time, we see cracks forming in the Villains alliance next week. Can we expect yet another Hero going home?

The block-building challenge was great to watch. I remember it being the very last Gabon challenge and Susie winning it, which was awesome.

There has been much stupidity at play since the game's start, but this week was especially painful to sit through. Danielle should've stuffed the clue where the sun didn't shine, the same for Amanda. Just baffling. And Danielle shouldn't have so eagerly went and blabbed to her alliance that she had the clue, even though Amanda would've saved her the trouble. In the end, it's all moot, anyway, as the HII was used for absolutely nothing. Better safe than sorry or not, it was just tragic and a waste of good television. But I can see why Russell played it.

As much as I'm indifferent to her, Courtney's "You do that" to Jeff's usual "I'll go tally the votes" made me chuckle.

Wow, I cannot believe Candice! I thought she was totally smarter than that! There was absolutely no rhyme or reason as to why she voted out Amanda. The even bigger "WTF" is that in the Insider clips, she and Amanda sat together and compared notes and found out that Russell was telling both of them the same thing. It's just mind boggling!

I mean, didn't she learn from her original season when she mutineed from Aitu and went over to join the Raro's and how that completely screwed her game over?!? Unbelievable.

Colby = Idiot. Why did he basically just let Amanda give up the immunity idol to Danielle like that. If I were Amanda, I would have told Colby to screw off and kept that clue for myself. Great way to have your tribes back Colby. What a disappointment he is this season.

Russell, once again he's has absolutely no grasp of this season. Promising Candice final three, knowing full well she's not going to get anywhere near final three is going to bite him hard just like him promsing the Heroes he was with them will screw him over. He just doesn't know when to leave well enough alone. Candice was already flipping all he needed to do was just show her the idol and be done with he.

Seriously, he could play this game a million times and never win, his ego just can't accept the fact that people other than him may be playing the game just as good or even better. His comment about Sandra being easy to beat if she's taken to the Final Three = WOW. Courtney's reaction on the jury said it all. That's the exact same thing he said about Natalie last season. Loved when Parvati rolled her eyes and told him he wasted an idol tonight. He's a moron.

Sandra - Making ALL the right moves at this point in the game, but unfortunately everyone she's trying to play with are all absolute idiots. The scene with her trying to convince Candice proves why shes a great and deadly player. Her trying to work with the Heroes will help her out ten fold if she makes it to the end, because they will appreciate the fact that she was up front and honest about everything. I loved her spilling EVERYTHING about the Villains tribe to Colby last night. Great play!

She also has the added bonus that people are absolutely underestimating her. Just like Natalie last season (albeit Sandra is a lot more aggressive) she's knows Russell is ego driven and thinks he's the best thing since sliced bread. She'll play that up to the hilt with him.

Next week, looks like Parvati and Russell's alliance starts to quiver. Parvati is such a better player then him by light years, but she's being sucked into his ego driven tussle and that's only going to screw her over more. While they fight, they're letting Sandra AND Jerri (Who I think is a sleeper, she could take it in the end if they let her pass through) get closer to the Heroes and buddy up with them.

Russell didn't promise Candice the final three, did he? At least, not outright. Rather, unless I missed something, he seemed non-committal about it when Candice asked him, and she didn't push but seemed willing to take her chances.

I wonder if Sandra's given up on the Heroes. With the combined idiocy of the remaining Heroes, I don't blame her. Going by the votes, the Villains now outnumber the Heroes three to one. And with the preview foreshadowing Russell's alliance turning on him and vice versa, I'm inclined to expect the opposite happening and the Villains staying solid to keep numbers. And later on, Sandra just might capitalize on the sour feelings between Russell and the rest of the girls.

Russell didn't promise Candice the final three, did he?

Yes, he said something like "You're going" or "I'll take you to the top three."

I wonder if Sandra's given up on the Heroes.

At this point, she has no other choice unless the girls want to plan a coup against Russell. Even if she deflected now and joined up with Candice/Colby/Rupert that would still be 4 vs. 4. Candice really ruined it last night.

Looks like next week is a DOUBLE BOOT episode!

TWO IMMUNITY CHALLENGES SEND THE MERGED TRIBE TO BACK-TO-BACK TRIBAL COUNCILS AND, WITH ALLIANCES TEETERING ON SHAKY GROUND, EVERYONE IS SCRAMBLING FOR THE PROTECTION OF THE HIDDEN IMMUNITY IDOL, ON "SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS," THURSDAY, MAY 6
"Sinking Ship" - Sensing that he is in danger, a hero makes a bold move to save himself by fooling the entire tribe. Meanwhile, a vicious power struggle emerges in one alliance and two of the strongest villains find themselves pitted against one another, on SURVIVOR: HEROES VS. VILLAINS, Thursday, May 6 (8:00-9:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.

Other thing that boggles my mind about Candice's decision is that she wasn't even at the bottom of the alliance on the Heroes.

If you go watch the Insider clips, she had a F3 deal with Colby and Amanda. They were planning on ditching JT and Rupert at the final five. Had she just stuck with the plan like Sandra told her, she would have been in the catbird seat come final five. Sandra/Rupert vs. Colby/Amanda with both sides fighting over Candice as the deciding vote.

Truly a very stupid stupid move on Candice's part.

She wanted to get back at Amanda and got her wish. These people can't put revenge aside for one minute.

dammit, why can't they just vote Sandra out already?

And what the hell, she tells the heroes she's voting Pavarti, the villains know she's on the outs, yet she votes for Amanda?

I want to see he gone so bad, she's useless, utterly useless, she never won anything for the villains, she can't win a reward challenge, she can't win an immunity challenge and she can't find the hidden immunity idol.

She is the LEAST deserving person to win the whole thing.

This is all assuming that Sandra would flip, the entire episode was about Sandra flipping, but in the end she didn't. Maybe it's because of Rupert completely brilliant speech at Tribal Council telling her she'd still be at the bottom if she flipped to the Heroes. I really hope it's Parvati, Danielle and Russell in the final three or if we somehow get a final two Parvati and Russell, that way we'll get a non emotional jury, who votes for the better player, not with their hurt feelings.

I agree that it was a crazy play on Candice's part but the reason why she did what she did was because of the genius of Russell. Russell is like a lion on the hunt. He can find the weak one from the herd and he pounces on them. That's what he did to Tyson and he did it once again to Candice.

Colby = Idiot. Why did he basically just let Amanda give up the immunity idol to Danielle like that. If I were Amanda, I would have told Colby to screw off and kept that clue for myself. Great way to have your tribes back Colby. What a disappointment he is this season.

So true.

Your bias against Russell is laughable. Russell is an electric player and is playing like a Villain should be playing. If the Jury doesn't see or understand the context of Russell's game then the fault that he doesn't win lies on the imbeciles on the Jury and not Russell.

Sandra has done NOTHING to impact the game at this point. Where are the "right moves" she has made and more importantly what were their results? The answer is: NONE. She couldn't convince Candice to vote Russell, yet she is a great and deadly player for having a failed scheme? Interesting! She tried to vote out Russell last night. Did it work? No, but to further illustrate how useless she is goes and votes for Amanda, like Russell wanted. hahaha Yeah, keep deluding yourself, SuperT, that Sandra is a better strategist than Russell. Sandra is nothing but a vestigial player, just like Colby.

She is the LEAST deserving person to win the whole thing.

What does any of that have to do with her deserving to win the game? It's far more impressive because she's the last person left of her alliance, she has no alliance with anyone, she's never needed an hidden immunity idol, and people don't see her as a threat, yet she's one of the biggest threats there.

You don't have to make big grandiose moves in order to win the game. Sometimes the best game is just sitting back and letting people hang themselves while you work your way into making inroads and connections with the other players, which is what Sandra is doing perfectly.

And what the hell, she tells the heroes she's voting Pavarti, the villains know she's on the outs, yet she votes for Amanda?

She voted for Amanda because she knew Candice has flipped. That's why she asked Candice who did she want to vote for. There's no point in Sandra voting for Parvati when Candice has already flipped.

Candice's flip was just dumb. Not JT-level dumb...but dumb nonetheless.
