Although I knew beforehand that Cirie was a goner and liked her, that blindside was still oh-so-sweet to see unfold! Those gloating, then drooping, smiles on Rupert and Candice's faces were HILARIOUS!
Also, I thought that by now, it would be clear that the Heroes and Villains labels mean absolutely nothing here, or they do in what TPTB probably thought was a cleverly ironic way. Yeah, no. The Heroes are acting here more like villains than the Villains are. That's not to say that the Villains have renounced their old ways and claimed their halos, of course, only that when it comes to Survivor, there is no such thing as holds-barred gameplay; rarely one that wins the million dollars, anyway. And that makes me sad to see Cirie go, giddy that JT isn't letting such a silly label hold him back from playing the game, and even giddier that the rest of the tribe are struggling to maintain what's left of their so-called reputations.
Which brings me to the Villains. Russell, you
damn transparent little fool. Because of the sheer entertainment you provided last season, I so want to root for you, I really do, but you're making it real ****ing difficult.

Unless you somehow miraculously manage to get through this unscathed, I'm done with you.
And I do wish that TPTB would, for all that is good and innocent, just stop with the lame-tastic editing of Coach's pseudo-yoga scenes. They're already cheesy enough without the dramatic fade-outs. Any more of them and I might just hurl all over my screen.
More blindsides like this, please. Even if they're for the players I'm pulling for to win, i.e. Boston Rob and TJ, provided that they're half as entertaining as tonight's.
