Agreed. I can't help but roll my eyes at the self righteous attitudes. They're all there to play a game. Say what you want about Russell, despite his size, he is a hell of a challenge competitor. This early in the game, to weaken your tribe...its as dumb as Rob voting Matt out. It was as dumb as Marty voting out all of the men from his tribe last season for the sake of his massive ego.

Russell is a snake though, a proven snake with history to back that up as he always goes far. I dont think its a mistake to get rid of him this early. Better to nip him in the bud than watch him slither to the end

Russell on Redemption Isle will be interesting. If you're there with him you'd never take your eyes off him for fear of him burning or hiding something on you.

I'm conflicted as to whether or not throwing the challenge was the right move or not. On the one hand it never pays to weaken your tribe, you could always lose the next challenge and then it would be nice to vote the guy you hate out (though they still have Stephenie just in case). On the other hand a player like Russel could easily ruin the tribes mojo and the risk of him finding the idol must have weight on peoples minds (Kudos to Ralph for keeping it to himself).

I´m amazed at the two girls joining Russell in what was clearly a minority. Why would you ever sign up to a minority alliance unless simply left out in the cold be a majority?

I love how Russell called the rest of his tribe b***** for doing underhanded stuff, when he did the exact same underhanded crap two seasons in a row and still lost.

Good riddance finally! I don't think he'll last long at Redemption Island either, although of course production could throw in a challenge that favors the little hobbit.

Don't be surprised if next weeks duel is "Who can burn a sock the fastest."

Jeff has said that the duels are all proven challenges from past individual challenges, and considering the plural form he used it should mean that they are all different (and it makes for better tv).

It's one of those things that's either going to be a huge mistake or they'll be glad they did it down the road. I would try to hold out from tribal council no matter what was going on though. I'm also annoyed by Stephanie and hopefully she is next.

Also I like reading Jeff's blog and Survivor just wouldn't be the same without him.

I really didn't mind Stephanie until last week. She came across a little too mouthy (and Russell brainwashed) at tribal. Just a bit too annoying.

Yeah, it really didn't make any sense for her to act that way since either her and Russells plan was going to work or she would be in trouble next week. It would have made more sense to avoid antagonizing the other tribe members in the weak hope that you aren't going to be the next one voted out.
